  • I have heard of that one! I hear it's pretty fun. 30 minutes of those dance routines are so hard! By the end of mine my legs, abs, and arms are so sore. Keep up the good work!
  • I had lost close to 80 lbs and over the course of 5 years it crept back up. my "oh hell no" moment was last november when I realized I was only 10 lbs away from being back to my heaviest weight ever. Nope! Never again am I going through that! I was able to get 30 lbs off but then regained 7 but so far I've lost a total of…
  • I have been 5'1.5" forever and 2 months ago the doctors office measured me and said I was 5'3" LOL. the hardest part is finding pants that arent a foot too long with the knees in the wrong place and a long crotch.
  • I'm with ya! sending a friend request too
  • I will eventually be at that point but not right now for medical reasons but I'm looking for friends on here to keep me inspired!
  • my nutritionist told me to make sure I was eating enough, 1500 was my calories for the day. Each meal was 1 carb, 1 fruit or veggie, 1 meat/ meat substitute, 1 fat, and 1 dairy/ dairy substitute. With that it is soooooo easy to make meal plans. I had 3 meals and 3 snacks per day and was able to lose 30 lbs. I went off my…
  • logging my foods helps me notice when i'm eating too much during certain meals- may need to switch snacks or schedule a snack at certain times to avoid binging later on. it also helps open my eyes as to how many calories are in something. for example, a drumstick ice cream has 310 calories... then i think about how much…
  • its funny you say that cause it is true. about eating more & losing weight. I was struggling to lose weight, I was averaging around 1000-1200 per day and managed to only lose around 10 lbs in 3 months. I finally met with a nutritionist who bumped me up to 1500 per day and I lost another 15 lbs in a month and a half!
  • Feel free to add me, I am preparing for bariatric surgery and just cut my calories down from 1500 to 1200. I do not eat the extra calories it gives me for exercising. I try my hardest to stay within 1200 but sometimes I am over it.
  • Hi there! I too have struggled with my weight for years. Just start slow, even just doing 5 minutes of walking around is better than nothing. It will take time to build up to going longer. I am always looking for buddies for support & to support! feel free to add me :)
  • Hi there! I am currently in a class to prepare for bariatric surgery and the doctor running the program told us that we should rotate the types of exercise we're doing. For example, one day we can do 15 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of stretching, and 30 of strength training. Next day do 15 stretching, 15 strength, and 30…
  • I also like sliced cucumbers with homemade hummus.
  • I have been bringing fat free string cheese, small tangerines, baby carrots, bananas, and apples with me. I was commuting for school previously, driving an hour there and an hour back so bringing my own snacks helped me not be as tempted to stop at a drive thru.
  • keep up the good work!!!
  • I like to walk too, I downloaded the map my fitness app on a recommendation from my doctor so it uses GPS to track exactly how far Im walking & how fast. I sync it to MFP account so it automatically factors in into my food intake too.
  • You should talk to your doctor to see exactly how many you should be taking in daily. I was going for 1200 a day but my doctor said that is not enough, which is why I was struggling to lose weight. She suggested 1400 to start and once I start losing I can gradually work my way down to 1200 a day.
  • I usually throw on a baggy tank top over my sports bra/ workout top or a zip up hooded sweatshirt. I prefer the sweatshirt because it has pockets so its hiding my parts of my body I dont like and then I have a place for my keys and phone. Most likely nobody notices you but I know how you feel about not wanting to show the…
  • What works for me is to plan out all of my meals for 2 weeks before I go grocery shopping. This way I won't be tempted to just grab random stuff ie: the good stuff that is super bad for you. I use the recipe creator on the app so that it automatically tells me how many calories are in each serving. I also try to switch…
