the early days loss is slowing down I started back 4 weeks ago yesterday at just over 225 so I canโt complain with a 1.5 lb loss plus yesterday was a big cheat day with a homemade taco feast ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ I think I may miss the goal I was being a bit cocky. 4.1 lbs a week to do it by dec 6 is even a stretch . great to see so many doing well here, i remember how hard the struggle was when i first went AF for two years. I went to AA but had a horrible time finding a meeting that worked as an atheist , i did find a great agnostic group and made many friends i am still in contact with 12 years later . Support is the big thing andโฆ

I will be part of this in general. Many years back i took a 2 year break and was going to AA and focussed on my health so on here as well ., when i started drinking again it was mostly occasional, covid years forward walking my dog I would stop at local brewery and meet other dog folk for a beer, by the time they went outโฆ

thanks for the warm welcome back everyone. So sorry to hear about the nasty clawbacks on food stamps and snap. Baffles me altogether (though we have our version of extremists up here calling for cuts to anything except tax cuts for the rich they have less influence. We do have a lot of food banks up here I have a friendโฆ

65 years ok and going to follow along my start dates was the 17th at 225 lbs. I too am being generally aggressive need to hit gym more but daily I walk the dog for two hours and hit 5+ kilometers on the walk (dog slows me down lol) currently down 6 lbs already and drinking 2.5 litres of water daily Long term my goal is 175โฆ

Back for the third time at 65, first time I managed good success got to withing 10 pounds of an ideal weight (and to a weight I could be happy with ) second time i dropped 18 pounds in 2020 but bad habits (stopping at the pub with other people walking our dogs daily was definitely a bad idea. Completely derailed by Covid i am back. starting at 220 have dropped a couple of easily shed pounds in a week I did manage to stay on track even in mexico, but then no excercisee to speak of and losing site of goals due to other things led me back. still not back at the gym as I have a new dog who I walk 2-3 hours a day
