  • I'm thinking of doing a round two as well but not until mid June or the beginning of July. I'm going to miss this group when it's over.
  • I've been working out at home for the past couple of month and I always wear my glasses. When I was younger I'd wear contacts to the gym but that was more for weird aesthetic reasons. Now if I started going to the gym again I'd wear my glasses as long as I wasn't doing anything that would make them fall or fly off. For…
  • Oh no! I really hope you feel better soon. In the mean time you have to do what's best for you.
  • I'm planning on doing HipHop Abs with my Mom (she couldn't do Insanity because of her knees) as well as some weight training. My dad unearthed a pull up bar we've had this whole time apparently so I'll be using that. Afterwards I will do another round of Insanity with my sister and maybe Asylum after that? I'll have to see.
  • Just finished the Fit Test and taking a break before the Max Interval Circuit: Switch Kicks: 49/67/83/85 Power Jacks: 18/34/43/49 Power Knees: 40/48/60/70 Power Jumps: 16/17/17/20 Globe Jumps: 6/6/7/6have to work on these... Suicide Jumps: 10/12/11/15 Push-Up Jacks: 0/0/6/12 Low-Plank Oblique: 20/20/23/30 These past two…
  • We are two weeks away!!! That and the fact that there are others still doing it with me is the reason I haven't stopped. I might have my weak moments but knowing that we will be the few that actually finish is great motivation. Great job guys!
  • Yes yes yes! It wasn't a walk in the park of course but it was a relief to do. Oh and I notice I sweat more that I used to. I guess that's a good thing?
  • I agree that this group is also a big part of me not stopping. When I think, ah come on I'll just leave it, I remember that I'm not alone in doing this. Somehow I knew I would feel like this, which is why I joined this group in the first place. And as lack luster as I am on some days (a lot lately) I do want to do the…
  • I know how you feel. The motivation is lacking a bit. I still make myself do the exercises but I'm battling with my inner demons as well. I'm also curious to know how everyone else is keeping themselves going...
  • Go you!!! That's great!! :flowerforyou:
  • I was able to do the workout today! I took a day off because my ankle started hurting mildly but in a bad way. So I took Tuesday as my rest day and will continue working out til sunday so I will catch up by next week. Today was much better. I did the workout in socks and felt more control but it limited me in other ways, I…
  • I'll gladly add you! I'm 26 years old and looking to lose 7 to 9 kilos. So about 16 to 20 lbs.
  • When Shaun T says he is going to kick your butt.... Well he wasn't playin'. The length intimidated me and I probably allowed it to get to my head a bit but overall I did well. I can't wait to feel improvement with these new exercises. I look ridiculous trying to do the side suicide jumps and for some reason I can't get the…
  • Awesome job everyone! I just did the fit test and am taking a short break before starting my Max Interval Circuit. But in the meantime here are my results: Switch kicks: 49 - 67 - 83 (I count individual kicks) Power jacks: 18 - 34 - 43 Power Knees: 40 - 48 - 60 Power Jumps: 16 - 17 - 17 Globe Jumps: 6 - 6 - 7 Suicide…
  • That's awesome! Great job! Month two is around the corner, I'm sure you'll continue killing it!
  • We did it guys! We have reached the end of recovery week! I still have to do my final one today but I have improved in all of the control and balance excercises. They aren't all perfect and I still need some help balancing every now and then with the hip flexer pulsing and extending ones but they are all much better than…
  • Great job! I also enjoyed the new pace but feel that I have to work on control. I haven't taken any measurments lately and the scale has been about the same for a while and gone slightly up this past week but I do feel my clothes fitting more comfortably than before. So, I'm taking that as a win. Also…
  • Month 2 is looming!! Great job everyone!!! I really don't think I would have kept going if it wasn't for this group so thank you everyone!!! I'm nervous for month 2 but I'm also excited. But first! Recovery Week! Let's keep killing it guys! Or at least shoving it slightly
  • Oh my gosh you're right! Today was the last we'll see of Cardio Power! Well I pushed as hard as I could this time and felt good with my efforts today, more so than yesterday. About month two I am nervous but at the same time I think my body needs something new. So I am looking forward to it with... dread? Bring it on! We…
  • My University wanted to get rid of readers they used because they were transitioning into "proper" textbooks and online material. So they announced that students had a limited time to visit the library and pick up any copies of readers they were interested in. (I went to a small Uni in Prague). Anyway, I arrived to the…
  • I don't know if I got too into my head today but I wasn't feeling it this workout. I pushed through but I wasn't as happy with the workout as I usually am. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
  • I haven't lost much either but I definitely feel stronger and can see changes in my body. I've also heard that it's normal. While people can lose weight doing Insanity it's more about body re-compositioning than anything else.
  • I've never done Insanity before but isn't recovery week important? I'm just asking because I'm curious about the answer to your question as well. Though I think I will go ahead and do recovery week as planned. But would it be bad to skip it or change it?
  • Great job! It's probably better not having a scale that way you don't obsess over it. I haven't lost very much at all in weight but I feel different and see a slightly smaller waist. I pushed harder today and really felt it. My favorite part is the feeling after the workouts! Recovery will be a welcome workout tomorrow.
  • I decided to start a plank challenge and I walked to the corner store (more than a corner away) and walked my dog. Nothing intense I enjoy my rest day.
  • Great job on finishing week 2! I just finished and I'm not as fond of Pure Cardio but I do feel I've improved. Cardio Abs was a bit of a challenge but I liked it. Looking forward to our second fit test to see if I've improved at least a little. At least I can do some push-ups now! :glasses:
  • Mid twenties here : 26. Do I still make the cut?
  • Great job! I'm looking forward to cardio abs too. We'll see how I feel about that though once I'm actually doing it :ohwell:
  • Great job on day 8. I just finished it and I also feel so much better after finishing and feel it was worth it. Even if I am suffering during.
