I had the same cravings in the beginning (and sometimes even now). One thing I found that really helped was to drink hot tea or seltzer water. Zero calories and it gives you something to do with your hands/mouth and you also feel full.

I have a cheat meal once a week. I have found that my weight loss actually stalls if I don't have the cheat meal. April 28th will be exactly 12 weeks from when I started my weight loss plan, and I have lost 23 pounds! I probably can add another pound to that total, but it's my TOM. Good luck - you can do it!!!

I've learned that eating a smaller serving leaves me satisfied and more energetic. Before I was eating so much that I would just sit and watch tv or lay around after eating a huge meal. Now, I actually have the energy to get up and move around after eating. It is a double benefit, since I'm eating less and moving more.
