I took Wellbutrin and Topamax for BED/depression for about 2.5 years. The Topamax helped immensely with the BED at first, but eventually the effects tapered off and I would eat/binge regardless of dosage. I agree with the above that it is not a fix - just another tool. I still struggle with BED today, I haven't taken any…

Breville Juice Fountain. We use ours practically every day. We bought it after watching Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead in 2010. Previously we had owned two cheaper juicers, both of which were practically useless. Like you, I never did a full juice fast, just added into my regular diet. It's a good way for me to use vegetables…

That's what I was thinking.

While I don't disagree with treating teens with respect, they are NOT adults. They are adolescents who do not yet have the maturity to reason as adults. They lack perspective, world experience, and 99% of the time think only of themselves. As to the OP - I feel you and don't have the magic answer. My oldest daughter is 16…

Great job!!! You look great, and have a great story to share.

I have it for the Wii and am loving it so far!

Can you call around to an urgent care place and ask them what the cash cost would be to see you? It probably needs to be lanced, or cut out. I used to get them all the time, and my son had to have a bad one cut out. It definitely needs to be checked out if you are limping from the pain. You don't want to risk an infection…

OMG no! That would have been the final straw.

I used to work with a guy who saw no problem with clipping his fingernails in his cubicle. Snip, snip, snip, right into his trashcan (thank goodness). Soooo gross, I'd almost rather hear someone chew.

My treadmill thinks anyone that steps on it weighs 150 pounds, so no. It would overestimate my burn.

I don't know what you look like, but if you're pretty lean biceps can respond pretty quickly to weights. If it's flappy chicken wing triceps that's another story. It certainly wouldn't hurt to do pushups, bicep curls, lat raises, etc every other day for the next two weeks. You don't have anything to lose.

Coffeemate is starting to offer more of their flavors in sugar free versions. Aside from French Vanilla (which isn't my favorite), they make Hazelnut, Pumpkin Spice, and Peppermint Mocha. There may be more, those are just the ones I see at my store. If I see a flavor that isn't sugar free I get it anyway and make it fit…

I was craving pumpkin last night but wanted to be healthy so I came up with this. 1 cup Chobani plain yogurt 1/8 cup canned pumpkin (more or less to suit your taste) 1 tsp agave nectar Several good shakes of pumpkin pie spice Mix well. I added some granola and crumbled graham crackers to mine. Super yummy, my kids asked me…

Wrong age bracket but I stopped drinking when I was 29. I did not like what it was doing to my life and didn't want to end up like the numerous alcoholics in my family. I wanted to raise my kids in a house where it wasn't normal to keep beer in the fridge, and I want them to grow up understanding that it's just as easy to…

I'd rather see a woman nurse her baby than watch some person with bad table manners stuff themselves.

LOL, I finally broke down yesterday and clicked on the ad. Way too pricey for me, but at least now I know what it is!

Have you ever been screened for bipolar disorder? It sounds like you are experiencing pretty wide mood springs. Keep in mind, bipolar disorder can be over, or mis-diagnosed quite often, but it would be worth talking to a trusted doctor to see if this might be your issue.

Yum, this sounds awesome. Duh, I was supposed to be quoting the smoothie post.

You are beautiful! What an amazing transformation, great job!

What an awesome journey! Congratulations on your weight loss, you can really see a difference.

This is a great example of how body type impacts size. I'm currently 139~140, 5'4" wearing 8s. 10s are just now getting too big. When I was at my skinniest, with quite a bit of muscle at 110-112 I was wearing a 4. Very rarely did a 2 fit me, even then. I have always had a bubble butt, no matter how much weight I've lost.…

You look amazing! Totally inspiring.

LOL!!! "Irregardless" drives me bonkers. The word is REGARDLESS. Ordament for Ornament. Renember for remember. Yes, I hear many adults that say these mis-pronunciations regularly.
-
You both look amazing. Such an inspiration! Great job.
