 Glad I could help!! If you have any more questions feel free to message me! And yeah, for an 8 hour shift I have burnt 3000 and 4000 calories (equals out to roughly 4-500 cal/hr). I think my HRM is nearly accurate because when I'm running I burn between 600-700 calories/hour; granted waitressing is not…

I am a waitress and my shifts are very fast-paced and busy. Wearing my HRM on a Friday night will tally upwards of 3000 calories (I monitor it for curiosity's sake at least once a month :P), but I do not count this/log this as exercise. It is my job, it is normal activity. I don't eat extra calories, I just make sure to…

Holy god of muscles do you look good! 8) Wow Amazing work. I cannot imagine how much dedication and attention to detail you've put into your transformation. Hats off to you. Congratulations.

That's so great! Keep up the good work! I also used to notice it a LOT more when I had to get from one side of campus to the other (UW, huge campus, hills, etc). I still get from class to class in about the same amount of time but I don't get sweaty/overheated/red-faced trying to get there! In fact, I'll take detours if I…

Vegetarian since birth here! (No meat, poultry, fish, rennet, gelatin; 26 years strong.) I do eat dairy, just not that much cause I am sensitive to it. :flowerforyou: Hello, friends!

THIS is an example of making smart choices at RR :). Good work!

CAREFUL with those onion rings - the tower has over 1800 calories. Fish and chips- all fried, very high in starch and fat :(.

haha my thought's exactly!! :D hahah Just ORDER SMARTLY, people!! "Dieting" shouldn't be torture!! It should be a lifestyle of making healthy choices and enjoying!

I worked there for almost 5 years. Here's the scoop: If you can, stay away from mayos, dressings, and dipping sauces. ONE side of ranch has almost 300 calories of PURE FAT. No alcohol - you can if you must, but stay away from the fruity cocktails and mixed drinks (TONS of sugar). No shakes. No no no no NO no NO! No…

Congratulations, girl! You look amazing :D!

hahahha that's exactly what I thought of when I wrote it! Geez that was ages ago :P. I just didn't know what to put in the topic line! And I hate it when I can't tell what a post is about from it's title. Drives me nuts.

Laverne and Shirley! Haha I never knew how that was spelled but I'll never forget how they say it! Friend me! I love beer and cheese! yummmmmm but I've been doing well keeping those things to very sparse frequency in my diet.

Depression. Anxiety. Overly busy. (Honor Roll, Deans list, Academic honors at UW, working on top of classes). Lack of movement. (Almost) no history of sports, physical fitness. i LOVE mayo. I LOVE beer, wine, whiskey. so... obviously... weight gain. Amazing how eating healthy foods helps how I feel while exercising…

this! silly double standard of sorts. Quit being insecure, people! Take the complements you can get! Sometimes they're hard to come by. PS. Your "yes homo" comment = so. awesome.

That is AMAZING! I am so so happy for you! WELL DONE! My mom is obese and walks with a walker or cane because she needs her hip replaced. She goes on and off of exercise spurts but never goes down more than twenty pounds before stopping and gaining it back. I am going to show her your story, I hope she get's some…

Hey man I can see a BIG difference for just 30 days. Awesome job! Keep up the great work. PS. Good job on giving up soda! I know that can be a reallllllly hard thing to do.

That's so awesome, congratulations!! Just wait until you get to feel what it's like to go from "overweight" to "normal" :D. Keep up the GREAT work!! :D

^^^ Yes! This! I find that the more protein I eat the less often I get hungry. Maybe try to incorporate more greek yogurt, beans (boiled no/low salt; kidney beans, garbanzos, black beans, etc), eggs, hummus, lean meats, fish, nuts and seeds. Or try a protein powder - make shakes. These are all yummy and healthy lower…

Listen to your body and do what you feel is best for you. :) If you feel like you should stay at level one for a few more days until you improve at some of the moves then do so. OR Try to do level 2 and see what happens! Maybe it will be SUPER hard and you won't be able to do any of it. Maybe you'll find it challenging but…

That is NOT a small victory. Congratulations!! Keep up the great work! Keep going! :D What a great feeling that has to be!
