Make sure that you are having enough water - minimum of 8 - 8oz glasses per day. You also need to have enough protein. The way this site calculates is way too low for me. I need 100 and not 45 per day. I was doing a program (H.....life) and lost 30 pounds. It has been a year and I have kept most of it off. The few pounds…

Good for you monitoring your heart. Only your doctor can tell you if your present condition warrants a heart rate monitor. For a more realistic burn - you may want to put your time and activity in the exercise section and see what it says. If you burn more than you expect and don't eat all those calories back, you still…

Only you can decide what YOU feel comfortable in. I have learned that just because I can get some pants/shorts on and they fit (size 2) doesn't mean that they make me feel good. It isn't the size because that is what I wear. It may be the cut, the rise, the overall structure and cut of the article of clothing. If you don't…

You should at least talk with the doctor who is regulating your thyroid medicines. If they don't think the meds should cause this change, then check in with your ob/gyn doctor. Changes happen but should be monitored by a physician who knows you.

Dr. Oz did a segment and mentioned "coconut palm sugar" Supposed to be lower on the glycemic scale and you use it in the same proportion as regular sugar. Check his website, probably, for more details.

You might be allergic to sulfur!

Skinny cow in the small container is still a good choice. My biggest suggestion is something with the portiion already done for you. If you get a bigger carton; you'll eat more. Limit your choices right now - you want to help your body to quit craving everything - I still struggle with it all the time. Try a glass of water…

Make sure you are having enough water - 8 to 10 (8 oz) glasses per day. Also, make sure that you are getting enough good-quality protein as that helps as well. It will get better.

As they say on "What not to wear" get them tailored. Try to find out if there is someone in your area that will take them in or check at a local dry cleaners. Or take them back. The leggings get really skinny as do jeggins. I have found out that no matter what your size it is an hour plus job to find jeans. Try different…

Not so fond of it even though I like being a 2 petite or a 4 petite. It is difficult to know if I am what I used to be or smaller given the sizeing Have they changed them that much which is what someone who is micro-sized told me - burst my bubble after I had worked so hard. What kills me is negative sizing. How can you be…

Good for you. Wishing you great success. Drink lots of water 8-10 (8 oz) per day. Get enough protein each day. Walking is great exercise.

Is it possible for you to walk some everyday or on the days you aren't doing your other program? You want to get in some exercise each and every day. Yes, I think the peanut butter and bread sandwiches at lunch are not helping you. Try to find some other protein sources that aren't so high in fat. Limit your carbs to…

I would say stay away from the pills. I used a "life system" - don't know if i can say companies names on here that had vitamin and support supplements. They were NOT quick fix, diet pills. I lost 30 pounds so it will work. Alolng with daily exercise and really watching what I was eating. Lifestyle changes are the best way…

The program I was on almost doubled the protein to 100 for a female at 5' 3 1/2" I lost 30 pounds. So I think you can recalculate your protein and be just fine.

I walk an hour almost every day at about a 3.5 mph pace. I have one tough hill. So it says I burn about 195 calories. I stayed around 1200 calories per day. I have lost 30 pounds. So it is possible to do without absolutely killing yourself. I was on a "program" but am not sure if you are supposed to talk about other…

First thing - Congratulations on owning where you are right now. Document what you ate accurately. I make notes in the little box on the food diary section - whether happy, stress, angry, frustrated, bored, etc. that led me to eat poorly (most of the time it is poorly), etc. Own it for what it is and move on. You can beat…

I think you need to make it your personal journey. The boards are helpful but if you spend more time chatting than exercising it probably won't help so much. The best things I can suggest are are drink 8 to 10 (8 oz) glasses of water per day, get enough protein - mfp seems quite low at 45 (I eat 100) and be honest with…

You should have a minimum of 1,200 calories a day. I don't know what your personal calorie number should be. Probably 50% of the people eat their exercise calories and are successfull and the other 50% of the people don''t eat their exercise calories and are successful. Drink 8 to 10 glass of water (8 oz) a day unless…

How about one day at a time. Sounds like you need to meet with a doctor and find out what you can and cannot do. You can be successful. It will be a lot of work but you are worth it. I have found getting a minimum of 8 glasses (8 oz) each of water - 10 is even better - helps you feel full. There is a little box on the page…

Great job!!!!!! You persevered through a very difficult time. Unfortunately, you will probably have many more opportunities to persevere again. You did it and you can be proud of your accomplishments. By the way, YOU are totally worth it!!!!!!!!!

Because we will ALWAYS want what we tell ourselves we can't have. Drink some water and hopefully it will pass soon. I wanted to post a few minutes ago - Why, oh why, is eating so much fun :) So I do understand.

Good for you!!!!!!

I'd say don't. I am 5 3 1/2 and weigh 110-113 and people keep telling me I am too skinny. Maybe what you want is to tone your body. Don't get sick. You are really tall to weight 115. Pray you make good decisions for your health.

Keep eating - low sodium soup, drink water, take vitamin C and probiotic (jarro-dophilus is a good one) and you should be feeling better soon. I imagine when you feel better your appetite will come back with a vengence.

It's great that you are trying to figure it out ahead of time. You can see if they make a smaller kid-sized pizza. If not then pack it with veggies if you can eat a pizza that way - no sauce or cheese - then it isn't really a pizza BUT do it that way anyway. Also, nothing says you have to eat the whole pizza. Eat half and…

Great place to be. Document everything you eat even if you "blow it". Be as accurate as you can even if you are creative and find something as close to what you had as possible. Use the comment box at the bottom of your food diary. If you pig out or ? make sure you comment in there if you were tired, angry, bored,…

I am so sorry for the loss of your grandfather. It is perfectly normal to be hurting right now. It will be perfectly normal to always have a hurt in your heart at this loss of a most special person in your life. The key is to allow yourself to grieve and not stuff your feelings away. People will tell you he lived a good…

Forgive yourself, document it in your diary, in the comment area try and document why you ate it - it looked good, you were bored, you were angry, tired, just wanted it, whatever it is, and move on. The rest of the day is here to make good food choices, exercise some. Move on. I do realize how hard it is as I can get quite…

Some suggest that you eat more calories to kick start your body. How much? What? How many days? I don't know what to suggest. Your body is functioning well in the program you are on and that's probably why you have plateaued.
