Do you have your MFP goals set too high? If you're hungry because your calories are too low, try reducing the amount of weight you want to lose per week to .5-1 lb. That might help some.

Don't be discouraged! If you're struggling with not making any progress, I'd recommend buying a food scale if you don't use one already. Measuring with cups or even worse, eyeballing it, can lead to a lot of unexpected calories.

250 calories isn't going to ruin your progress. Just move past it, and start fresh tomorrow.

Running has given me wonderful results, but what's more important is finding something you enjoy and will be able to stick to. No matter how good a workout is made out to be, if you can't stick to it you won't have good results.

Don't panic!! You've got this! Take a look at what you're eating as well as getting exercise. One of my favorite fitness quotes is "You can't outrun a bad diet." Congrats on the wedding!

Couch to 5k is a great app. You also might be interested in the Runner's World five step beginner program. http://www.runnersworld.com/the-starting-line/ But definitely head to a running store and get fitted for shoes. I started running in an old beat up pair of Nikes and dealt with numbness in my feet and ankles every…

Count me in, please!

Feel free to add me! I'm 22, my highest weight was 205, and I'm hovering around 153 now, so I'd say I'm familiar with these goals! Additionally, running is my exercise of choice and I'm trying to get back into it after the holidays. Sounds like we have a lot in common!

I'd like to be a mentor! A bit about me, I'm a 21 (almost 22) year old college student, I've lost 55 lbs since March 2016 and I've been maintaining my loss for two months. My preferred form of exercise is running, but I also enjoy lifting weights. If you're interested in losing weight without cutting out all of the foods…

I have an alta and it's okay. I like it, but I had problems with the original wrist band (hint: it's easy to unhook-- my first one fell off on a roller coaster :'( ) I replaced the band with some aftermarket ones from Amazon and it's much better. Other than that though, it's a good motivator and I like being able to track…

I'm going on a cruise next July with my boyfriend and both of our families. That was pretty good motivation-- I'd like to be able to wear a bathing suit and feel confident for once!

Welcome! I know how it feels to struggle with weight for your whole life... I've been at this for a while now, but if you would like to be friends feel free to shoot me a request! Sometimes I find it difficult to find friends here that are close in age haha

I never considered how much my ring size would change. I got sized this weekend and I went from an 8 to a 6.5! Another pleasant surprise-- I was able to try on the display rings!

I ran my first half marathon!!

I bought a pair of size 6 jeans today. I was a 9 in high school and started my journey at an Old Navy 12/14.

Count me in! I've had loads of success with your last two challenges and I'm ready to get back at it!

Hello! I'd love to mentor someone who's new to MFP. I've been logging daily for 6 months and I've lost 40 pounds. I don't do any special diets-- no low carb, fat free or anything like that. I focus on everything in moderation and moving more to improve my health. As your mentor I'll be here to give you advice and support…

I didn't get an invite

I'd love to join this challenge! I loved Reach for the Beach!

There's no way I could do this. Even if I decide to have a day where I allow myself to eat more than normal, I have to log everything. It keeps me from going way overboard which I could very easily do. But that's just me and if you have more restraint then it might work for you.

Get a food scale. Seriously, that's going to be the only way to ensure accuracy for things that you can't scan in. And honestly you should be weighing things you can scan in because serving sizes in cups/tablespoons/teaspoons aren't going to be as accurate as weight. You can get a decent food scale on Amazon for about $12.

You have to make a lifestyle change. If you "diet" to lose the weight then go back to the way you were eating before you're going to put all the weight back on.
-
You'll do great! Best of luck to you!

I've had my Alta for two weeks now and I LOVE it! I considered the Flex, Alta, and Charge HR, but decided I didn't need a heart rate monitor. The reason I ended up going with the Alta is because of the display. I really wanted something that I could wear at work and use as a watch and fitness tracker. The Alta also has…

The fun thing about races is there's lots of people at different skill levels! I ran my first 5k in about 35 minutes and finished in the top half of the race. When you get out to do your first race you'll probably see a few people who are clearly there to win, but the average runner is just there to have a great time and…

I saw a picture of myself and realized I don't have a double chin anymore!
-
I found that my 5k time improved when I started training for longer distances.
-
I ran my second 5k today and ran the first mile in under 10 minutes! I've never been able to run a mile in 10 minutes

Ask your doctor. Seriously there's no sense in taking chances with advice given to you on the internet
