That is what I have been telling my mom... all my life i was told I eat too much and that is why i am overweight... well for the last 25 years i have been eating less.. i really think that martial arts is one of the best workouts... so i was quite annoyed and frustrated... started eating more and there goes that theory....…

This is exactly my issue, i never used to eat enough when i was training martial arts for ten years... I only bounced back and forth between the same 20 pounds... and i tell you i never ate as much as i do on this site... steadily losing 2 pounds a week... except last week... got a little stuck for some reason :)

I eat them always or atleast half... some days i work hard i may have a couple extra hundred.. I just think of them as a bonus for a day i might mess up :) But mostly I eat them back... your body needs them to run ;) Your net should be 1200 or whatever limit you have set :)

You cannot go under 1200 base calories.. You need to change the 800 to 1200. Your body is probably in starvation mode hun!

well since you don't eat chicken... make a blackened fish and i love steamed rice topped with black beans.... i usually make it with chicken though :) I am not vegetarian (Itried for 3 years and got really pale and run down... just not for some of us I guess) but most people love anything with black beans :)

you can add sodium to your diary and watch it. I am pretty sure the max is 2500 for everyone, but since it does retain water, a lot of people choose to stay away .. :) oops meant 2500 lol, mistype

i dont know if people have been here that long, but i know many that have reached their goals and now are maintaining on the site.... I would think once you maintain your weight for a year or so, you would just know and be able to tell what your body needs for calories... Once I am maintaining i will probably keep…

sounds like you need a lot of vitamin C :) I have gotten colds more this year as well when i started 5 days a week, it could just be your body adjusting, but make sure it gets proper vitamins and minerals... they play a big part. :) I have not heard that before about the overtraining, maybe someone else has though :)

You can do this and I dont blame you for not wanting to think about the surgery quite yet! It is more encouraging and helpful to your depression to know that you can do it yourself. It is a hard road for all of us and that is why we are all here. I think you should just start off by doing things around the house each day…

regular bacon, i like turkey bacon as well... but it isn't as good for you. and doesn't taste half as good hahah :) I don't like mine crispy but i don't like ti chewy, right in between :) Some days I get in the mood for crispy though :)

I strive to do 30 minutes of any exercise every day... it is not that long and it doesn't seem like you are beating the heck out of yourself.. like when I used to do 2 hours twice a week... Break it down :)

Thanks! sometimes i can curb it with a jell-0 mousse temptations... but sometimes i find it is just easier to have it than eat other things to stop the craving and still crave itt.. Ice cream is my only weakness really....i love it once a week if i can

Yeah i wouldnt worry too much about it if you are donig a lot of extra work on other days... like she said, lets put the past behind us.. i am thinking about doing the same thing.. darn ice cream (the devil). I was debating whether to do it or just forget about it and it is a fresh start today? The reason being is I think it is going to make us crave again and do it over again. Lotsa people have their day off so I might just try having a a GREEN 100 calories…

I guess my cheat day is the days i crave ice cream and feed that craving. I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but I have a weakness for ice cream.. But then I beat myself up and start doing crazy things to burn calories before bedtime.. I guess I suck at cheating... I will never ever give up my ice cream though! Do not ask…

Yes after seeing that and learning, home popcorn is much much different than theirs with or without butter, I was just going to skip it and have a nice dinner with my boyfriend to make smart use of my cals lol

you should only use the one from the morning and the same time every time... that is most accurate ALSO if it is digital, the battery could be going dead as well... mine usually says way way under when it is dying though.. like 70 pounds total or something stupid lol
