Thanks for the ideas! I think I’m just allowing too much “wiggle room” on the weekends. It’s so much harder bc my schedule is all over the place. As I’m sure everyone’s is. I’m not as strict about logging my food. I will try “banking” calories and see how that goes. I appreciate the comments

You could try creating a vision board....either on Pinterest or by getting some foam board and taping/gluing things to it. Put motivational quotes, photos, things you will treat yourself to when you hit your goals on it. Keep it somewhere you will look at all the time. It helps me to stay focused and it reminds me why I…

I just ordered JM body revolution. I have p90x and i did it for about a month and a half but then life happened and I just did not have the time to devote to it. I am excited to start the JM program b/c its only 30 min a day and I am training for a 1/2 marathon so I will add additional cardio to it. We will see......

I tell myself "it’s not your legs giving out it's your mind giving up...your body can do this". I also try to remind myself of all the people who are unable to run and how running is a privilege. I also do the “one more minute” trick.

Im 5'8" and I started at 196lbs and I am currently at 163lbs. My first goal was 165lbs but now I want to get down to 156lbs. That would be a 40lb loss and I think I would be the most comfortable at 156lbs. We will see when I get there!!

Your legs are not giving out, your head is giving out...KEEP GOING! Courage does not always roar. Sometime courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow." When there is nothing left to burn, you have to set yourself on fire! It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do…

Sugar free gum!! I used to think "there is no way gum is going to keep me from eating something sweet" but it really does. I buy Extra they have a ton of flavors. I usually have 2 flavors in my purse so I can swtich it up. But if you NEED to have something sweet I usually go for Dove promises b/c they are small and like 45…

That is AWESOME!! Congrats! :drinker: I am 5'8" and I am 164lbs right now and my goal is to be around 155lbs. I just got into a pair of size 6 skinny jeans two weeks ago and I cried!! When I started this journey I was in a size 14 and I would have never thought I would be wearing a size 6!! Its the best feeling EVER!!

I totally agree with this. Running is still hard for me but I feel amazing and accomplished when I am done with a run!

I got a PT at the gym as well. I wanted to switch up my routine. I would see the PT every week if possible...it will help keep you motivated. Also, when I started with my PT I already knew how to do most of the machines at the gym so I told him I wanted to focus on total body, high intensity, circuit type work outs. I…
