It's one day and one meal. Don't miss out on celebrating his special day because of food. Go, eat, be happy!

It's one meal, one day of the year. Don't stress and enjoy yourself!

You're not eating enough. It would take a VERY tiny adult to only need 1200 calories or less a day. I no longer count calories, but I would guess that I eat upwards of 1700-2000 calories a day and am 5'2" and also 130 lbs with a BF% of about 22%. Eat more to lose more.

I did mean to say at least 100g of healthy fats daily. I would say a very large portion of my calories daily comes from fat. I'm the leanest and healthiest I've ever been in my adult life.
-
I don't count, but I"m sure its at least 100g a day probably more.

I'm within 5 lbs of goal and as of the last 6 months I've done the most change in my body by making sure that I move most of the day and do 15-45 minutes of body weight strength training about 3 days a week. I never fill burnt out and I have muscles that I've never in my life had before.

Amazing! You look wonderful!!!

I don't count calories. I use MFP as a way to track exercise and for support. I've lost nearly 50 lbs without really counting at all. I have counted in the past, but I end up getting really OCD about it and it triggers my ED behaviors. I focus on healthy foods and listening to my body to know if I'm getting enough…

With us shorties it can take a lot before we start seeing a big difference. At my heaviest I was 216 and looked about the same at 180 lbs. Keep going, 16 lb loss is awesome! I remember hitting that milestone this time around (Started off last year at 170+), like you I could feel the changes more than see them, but just…

I agree! I see people my height and weight that look smaller than me and it throws me off. We just have to remember that we're all build differently, bone structure, short vs. long torsos, short vs. long legs, etc. It all effects how fat distributes on our bodies. My stomach after two kids is completely stretched out and I…

Gnolls.org is another great site for the primal variation I like marksdailyapple.com as well. I love eating this way, I will continue doing it the rest of my life.

Canned tuna or salmon. Sometimes you can find a smoked salmon that doesn't have chemical crap in it and that's always good and fills you up.

We don't do Santa or any of the other imaginary being that are associated with holidays.

It's so hard and congrats on getting it off so quickly. I'm a mom of 2 (7 year old daughter and 16 month old son). I'm down to my last 10-15 lbs and it's really hard to get off. Lately I seem to be losing inches but not weight, so I'm guessing I"m just getting more muscular. Feel free to add me :)

They are gone as soon as I no longer can wear them. I will never go back, ever.

I'm 5'2" and 28 years old. My highest weight was 216 lbs, but I've been going off my weight that I joined MFP of 170-80 something. I'm currently 139 lbs wearing a US size 6 and 23% BF. I would like to get down to 18% BF and whatever weight that puts me at, probably around 130 lbs.

I love coconut oil! Use it everyday in cooking as well as on my skin and hair. Love it!

I'm 5'2" and started the year out at 182 lbs and am currently 142 lbs. My goal is to be around 125 lbs, but I mostly am looking at BF%.

I agree with the low carb and eliminating grains.
