  • I was over all weekend and ate like I did before joining my MFP (with a little healthier choices mixed in). But I'm not worried about it. I need to allow myself breaks once in a while! Back at it today!
  • If you mean the belly blasting one, its AWESOME. By far my favorite of hers. I just bought it on Friday at WalMart and have done it twice. I like the toning after the walk, I have been feeling it in my stomach since I did it! It's a lot more advanced than her other walks!
  • Awesome! Isn't it funny how different weights can equate to such different sizes. I have been up close to 200 and was still squeezing my butt into a lot of the same 10's I had at 150.
  • Not sound mean...but on Sunday March 23rd, you were over your calorie limit by 3,000!! Another day over by 600!!! Even with exercise is a wonder you aren't gaining weight. 850 calories for 5 cookies for breakfast??
  • Look at your Wed. That is a huge problem right there. You have a very high calorie goal to begin with so I would suggest NOT eating back exercise calories. I'm at 180 and my goal is to lose 1.0 a week and my calorie goal is 1320 (so I generally do eat back my exercise) Your goal without exercise is 1800 so that seems very…
  • OP - I think you are actually eating more than you realize b/c a number of things in your diary don't quite add up. A medium banana is 100 calories, not 60. Are you eating just plain broccoli slaw with nothing on it? Even with nothing on it 85 grams which is .3 cups is 25 calories and you have it listed as 10 calories for…
  • I log it as low impact aerobics b/c it's not just walking. You will find out that she has at least 4 other moves she incorporates, side steps, front kicks, back kicks, etc. and more depending on which video you got. Plus you can increase or decrease the intensity and go at the pace you are comfortable at. I always feel…
  • It's probably because you are getting used to the work outs, when you first started your body wasn't used to exercise so it was harder. The more you do it the easier it gets and the stronger your body gets!! It might not necessarily mean it's not working if you are still losing, just that it's becoming easier on you. You…
  • Dounuts. 260 for a glazed and I can eat 2 and feel like I ate air. Not worth it. About anything else I can justify and squeeze into my calorie counts. Oh, except dairy queen. Saving that for a treat when I reach some goals.
  • Feel free to add me as a friend so we can keep track of each other. I know what you mean about emotional eating, though I was not extreme with it, if I was having a bad day or feeling down, it was fast food AND a Milkshake. Always a milkshake to pick me up. I had no clue that one was like 900 calories. Also, I figured that…
  • I just have to say I clicked the link up above to read the article. I need to move to Europe if you can get 3 Cadbury eggs for 1 pound (1.66 us dollars)!!! Not that I eat them anyways!
  • I noticed the same thing yesterday with a Healthy Choice meal. Turns out they apparently made the portion size smaller and cut 20 calories, even the one with like 108 confirmations was WRONG. My friends here told me to scan the bar code and log it that way (on your mobile device). Tried that and it immediately brought up…
  • I take Zoloft and have to. Went off it when I was pregnant and was a beast. Mine is for anxiety/short temper not depression. I don't know if going on that pill that led to my weight gain or getting married, getting comfortable and then pregnant led to it. It all happened over the same 3 yr time span. That being said, in…
  • Feel free to add me. I have become addicted to this site, more than Facebook, LOL :)
  • I just downloaded the radio remix one from amazon last night and did it! Loved it! I think those 2 are similar!
  • The thing is, I can do insanity (can even do the warmup without stopping), I can do Jillian. However, I had to stop insanity due to shin splints which are now almost healed. I'm debating on going back to that or sticking with something lower impact and I really liked the one Leslie work out I did.
  • I actually did her 3 mile powerwalk on Saturday. First one of her's I'd done and was skeptical at first since I had been doing insanity (but had to stop b/c of leg injury). I thought no way I'm going to feel like I'm working out. I actually think I was sweating more at the end than doing insanity!! I am still skeptical…
  • I eat a lean cuisine type meal almost every day for lunch. They are low in calories, but they are super high in sodium, so that is something to think about. However, I find eating something like that that is portion controlled and labeled for nutrition is the only way I can accurately log and stay with in my goals. I add a…
  • ^^^ I have thought that many times!!
  • I too have a toddler who is very independent but as soon as I start exercising she wants to as well. However, she is pretty good with staying clear of me and gives up after a few minutes and I let her watch TV while I'm exercising. On YouTube there are tons of free videos. Do a ten minute once, twice a day. Surely if you…
  • I made it 2 1/2 weeks in and had to stop for the last 2 weeks. I have shin splints (I think) that will not go away and I can't do a lot of the exercises. Bummer too, b/c I was actually really liking the ridiculousness of it lol! I felt like I had earned something each day.
  • Lets do this! You and I sound very very similar, I'm a few inches shorter but about the same weight a few weeks ago! I accepted your request!
  • I find it's not right either. It's just a guesstimate, and plus every body loses differently and some may be muscle building as well so you may gain and not lose. For me, I am actually at the weight it told me I'd be at in five weeks about a week ago "if every day were like today." Some days I will be down 8-10 pounds in 5…
  • Probably not. For a while I thought mine maybe were defeating the purpose of a salad, until I actually added up the calories and weighed out the serving size and found out I was right where I need to be (which is good b/c a bigger salad fills me up better!)
  • I just began my journey a few weeks ago - biggest eye opener I had recently was the calories in a doughnut. They brought some to work and I thought well I can have one glazed and stay within my calories. I checked first and holy crap 260 calories for a glazed donut that is 2 bites? I passed, not worth it. Generally, I eat…
  • I figured as much. I am just afraid I won't continually use it and don't want to spend a lot of money!
