Another lovely early morning 8.5k today. I will hit my target soon at this rate.
-
Decent runs this weekend and today: 8.5k all, just under 10k/hour, and I felt pretty invigorated afterwards. Gotta love spring running!
-
8.5 k yesterday, in lovely weather. Will aim for another 8 k+ today....
-
10 k yesterday, and 8.5 today. For a month of active rest, I'm booking through this - at this rate, I'll reach my monthly goal in another couple of weeks. I guess I'm in a lot better shape after the half marathon! It also helps that it's so nice out, finally. Perfect running weather where I live!

Sorry! Meant to post to the message board. Apologies.

Half marathon yesterday! Ran a personal best: 1 hour 57 minutes. I think I could have gone faster - I was pretty comfortable for most of the race. Maybe I'll aim for a slightly faster time next time...

Greetings, all! This is exciting - I look forward to going through the MAY-hem challenge with everyone. Even though we start on Monday, yesterday I tried to act as if it was Day 1 of the challenge... I didn't snack after 8pm, which was a big victory, and I exercised as usual (I'm actually working out less than normal this…

This May, I'm aiming for 160k, which I think is a reasonably good distance that will still allow me to rest from my half marathon training. The race is this Sunday, and for the rest of the month I'll try to squeeze 30-40 k per week of nice, leisurely jogs combined with other activities.
-
All right! I am in. Will aim for no snacks after 8pm and keeping up my current exercise regime of six days a week.
-
A few more kilometres today, to top up the monthly goal. Half marathon this Sunday... I will probably do some moderate elliptical, light biking and/or walking between now and then, but no more running until race day!
-
Welcome, and feel free to add if you wish. I try my best to stay positive and provide support - we all have enough to deal with in our offline lives!

Hit my 200K goal, with a couple of days to spare and despite a week-long vacation!!!!
-
Half marathon next Sunday.... In the meantime, I have less than 10K left towards my 200K April goal. I may reach it later today, if I can fit in a run!
-
10k - a bit slower than usual because I felt somewhat bloated and achy (that time of the month). But I did it, and that's what counts!

Back from vacation! Didn't run while away (though I did walk a lot and also did some spinning), and I started again on Easter. My half marathon is on May 4th, and within the next week I will hit my 200k goal for April. After that, some rest and easy walks/jogs and it's off to the finish line!
-
20k today - longest training run yet, and just shy of the half marathon. It was beautiful! Such lovely weather. I am off on vacation for a week starting tomorrow, and I'm hoping to get a couple of 8-10ks in but won't beat myself too hard if I don't. Once I get back, one more long run and I start to taper off... Happy…

Today I ran 8k and walked 6.2k. I have added the 6.2k to the total, because it was at a good clip and hey, it counts. Happy Friday!

Lovely run today!

I have had a very short pixie for five years. I LOVE it. My hair used to be a real pain to deal with, and it never looked that great anyway - it was frizzy, curly in all the wrong places, and thin. However, as a pixie it looks textured and well kept no matter what. Weather and humidity are never an issue anymore; going to…

Felt like I ran fast today, but my watch told me otherwise.... Sigh. Still: good run, and good weather to boot!
-
10.1k this morning, in misty, cool, foggy weather. It was very pleasant! Happy Tuesday, everyone.
-
19K training run yesterday. I ran a bit faster than I have been going and found it tough, but not impossible. I am also trying to increase my speed on my regular weekday runs, which generally range between 8.5 and 10.5k. The one thing I'm finding is that I am hungry - and hungry for carbs! I'm averaging nearly 70k per week…

Pretty shoddy weather where I live this week, but I've been trying my best to get out. This weekend, long run (19 - 20K) unless the weather absolutely refuses to cooperate!
-
200 km in April, minimum! Let's do this!
-
Done! Just shy of 190 km in one month, and this considering that I had surgery on February 28th and needed a week to recover. I feel pretty proud of myself. Let's see if I can make it over 200 km in April.... Happy Monday!
-
And more booyah! Now I am 20k over my 160k goal, with one more day to spare! Thanks to the person who started this challenge - it's been great motivation. Happy Sunday, everyone!
-
Booyah!!!!! D-O-N-E, and with days to spare. I'm actually going for an 18k half-maraton training run today. Whoop whoop!

10k at a good clip this morning. I'm 35k away from my March goal of 160k.... 35k between now and next Monday is totally doable! It's in the bag!!!!
