  • I don't live in Gatlinburg, but live in Nashville and have been there many times. The days will be hot and humid in July...shorts and tank tops as it will probably be in the mid to high 80's. If you are staying in Gatlinburg and not Pigeon Forge (higher elevation) it can cool down some at night...probably in the mide 60's.…

  • Our 1972 MGB. My husband pretty much grew up in one, so he loves them. Makes sense, his parents are British.
  • There was a Mr. Mister song in the 80's with the line "Kyrie, eleison down the road that I must travel". My best friend and I were riding around singing to the radio when I heard her sing "Carry me I'm lazy down the road that I must travel". I still tease her about it to this day. And one on myself. My grandfather worked…

  • This...I have tried and tried. I know you are just supposed to "Pucker and Blow", but all I get is something that sounds like a wind storm outside. :-(

  • I absolutely love it. Every time I try to switch I either break out or flake out with dry skin. I love the primer, also. I tried other primer, but always go back to BE. To those who don't like their eye makeup, try their new line, Ready Eye Shadows. It is wonderful and has made me start using their eye shadows when I never…

  • When you look into these kennels, make sure you tour the kennel...all areas. The may look good online or in the waiting room, but make sure they keep all the areas clean. There was a very popular one in my neighborhood that just shut down. Everyone thought they were great until one of the customers walked into the back…
  • It is date night tonight, so we went out to eat. I would have probably done better with pizza, but we had Thai food. Pad Thai and steamed dumplings to be exact. It was AWESOME and I had enought extra calories to cover it.
  • In Tennessee (Lenoir City Law) - When you pull up to a stop sign you must fire a gun out the window to warn horse carriages that you are coming. Also Tennessee (Lexington) - By law, anyone who has been drinking is “sober” until he or she “cannot hold onto the ground. And in Memphis, TN - Illegal for a woman to drive a car…
  • We were in California visiting his parent over the Christmas holidays. It was Jan 30th and we were sitting at a little hole in the wall bar playing pool and just hanging out. We were sitting at the bar and he suddenly looks over at me and says, "Let's go get married". I said yes, and on Jan 3rd we drove to Vegas and had a…
  • I just tried Cardio Party Mix 3 this weekend. I thought I was ready to move forward, but that one kicked my butt.
  • It really does depend on the amount of strength training you have done before. I started with 3lb and immediately moved to 5lb. I am now using 8lb weights for all but the section with the tricep pushback, and I keep 5lb weights close by for that.
  • Yeah...I live in Nashville, so I actually grew up watching it with my grandparents. I was even at a live taping once. We also had a horse, who was not the best looking thing...we called her BR549.
  • I wonder if the Silk and/or Almond Milk would have the same effect as the creamer. The only reason I use the creamer or milk in my coffee is to stop the heart burn. I love coffee, but thought I would have to give it up becuase of that side effect...until someone told me to start using creamer. Works like a charm. Guess I…

  • Hi all! I am 44 and losing it the "right" way this time. Too many yo-yo diets over the years have trashed my metabolism, but now I am gradually building it back up and losing the weight. Glad to be part of a group that understands it gets a little harder when the big 40 roles around. :-)
  • I have the Turbo Jam! set. I LOVE IT! I have been doing it for about a month now and I believe it is what has helped me move past my plateau.
  • Hi, I am Dee, and I am a "born and bred" Nashvillian. I have lived in or around Nashville my whole life. I now live in East Nashville. I am 44. I have lost 24 pounds and have another 40 - 45 to lose.
  • My husband and I are going to a party tonight as Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. On the 31st, I will dressing as The Devil with a Blue Dress for work. (Sharon doesn't come across well without Ozzy...at least as a costume).
  • I just want to say THANK YOU! My husband and I have tried for a number of years to conceive, and it just was not happening. Due to our age, adoption is now out, but donor eggs is a good possibility for us. On the first round of IVF with a donor egg we were successful, but miscarried at 8 weeks. We have one frozen embryo…
