Lovely car!
I don't own one myself but growing up my father owned an MG (not sure what model/year..something from the 60's). Gorgeous car and really fun to drive in when it ran. I swear we spent more time pushing it than riding in it some days. Still loved it though.0 -
The old British car thing runs in the family, here is my parent's one from 1969.

Most excellent! I remember Twiggy driving one of those in The Blues Brothers!

I love classic cars. The first classic car I remember my dad having was a TR6.0

My Dad's first family car was a Morris Minor, tiny by today's standards (and would have been dwarfed by US cars of that vintage).
One of the quaint things about it were little indicator flags that used to fly up from the door pillars, in addition to the front and rear lights. A throwback I think to older times when hand signals were compulsory.
The estate version also had wooden framework on the outside. I think that was to make it look a bit like an American station wagon - didn't work. I always thought these cars looked like sweet old ladies, and now they are.

Nice! I keep thinking my next car will be a Jaguar but somehow it never ends up going that way. My parents have ('69 XK-E, '97 XK8) / had ('85 XJ-6, '95 Vanden Plas) Jags and I've always enjoyed driving them.0 -
Our 1972 MGB. My husband pretty much grew up in one, so he loves them. Makes sense, his parents are British.0 -
I love old British cars! Yours, and all the ones on this thread, are just beautiful!!!! I don't have one, but I do have a 1965 Mustang 2+2.0

Lovely!
My first car back in the 80's was an old mini cooper just like this...
I loved that car. I'd buy one again in a heartbeat if I could somehow ship it over to the US.0
