  • Thank you so much for all your advice! I will be trying everything out. Even trying to get up and sit down is painful at the moment. I look pregnant from the way I have to get up and down! :ohwell: I have never noticed my muscles before, but even sat down in a chair at my desk I can still feel the pain in my legs. Thank…
  • They're lush! I'm gonna be trying other frozen fruits now too! How do I go about freezing banana? Do I cut it up first or freeze it in its skin?
  • I used to get real bad headaches when I first started this new lifestyle change, but I cut out caffeine and fizzy drinks and barely get any headaches at all.
  • Sounds lush, I will definitely be trying this receipe. I love corguettes.
  • It took me a good few weeks to stop feeling the hunger pains. When you're used to overeating (like the majority of us probably did), its bound to take time to get used to eating actual 'proper' servings. Keep up with it and it will all be worth it in the long run. I found (and still do) that if I'm hungry...I'll have a…
  • I put a little honey in it and sometimes add some granola with it.
  • Thanks for all the replies girls! I'm exactly like you Christina....I've had it in for 5 years and everything was great, but after I had it changed I felt really bloated and ucky! Lost a pound last night, so must have been water retention last week. Onto a new week, time to get focused, eating right and exercising right! xx
  • Thank you everyone for your replies. Most helpful. I make sure I log everything I eat and weigh everything out religiously. But I never seem to get my calories up to where they are meant to be. But the thing is I just don't feel hungry enough to eat more. Its good that you lost so much with the mirena, as I really love it…
  • Thanks for the reply. Its just really disheartening putting weight on. I try so hard to eat healthy and do loads of exercise and then nothing happens!
  • I'd be interested to find out the answer to this too as I have pretty much had Tuna every week day for lunch with salad. Not sure why, just can't get enough.
  • When I have Greek yoghurt, I always put a little honey in it. Its awesome, but does make you think about the amount of sweeteners etc that go in these other so called 'healthy living' yoghurts. Steph xx
  • I've just had my Mirena changed. Had the first one in for 5 years and got on with it brilliantly. Towards the end of the coil life, I had lost just over a stone. Had a new one put in last Wednesday and this week I put on weight, I'm hoping that its just getting the hormones settled down. But reading other posts and people…
  • Homemade energy bar made by a colleague. It was really nice and tempted to make some myself as it was nice and didn't seem to have anything bad in it (worse thing was honey - but no sugar, butter etc.).
  • Hi, Brilliant thread idea. I've been using MFP for a few months now, but only recently started using the boards and adding friends. I'm 33 years old and live in the UK. I've been on this new 'lifestyle change' for 10 weeks now and lost 12lbs and 10.5" all together. Still have a LONG way to go, but I will get there, slowly…
  • Stupid question time....how do you make cauliflower rice? It sounds amazing....
  • How do you make 'air popped popcorn' - I've always used a store brought microwave bag. But they are usually really HIGH in calories... Any advice would be gratefully accepted. Steph xx
  • MFP tells me that I can have 1670 cals per day. I don't usually eat all of them and if I exercise, I try not to eat them. Losing on average about 1lb per week. Could do with some advice tho...am I eating enough to lose weight or should I try eating all of the calories?
  • Strawberry Granola with plain yoghurt. (1st post ever)
