  • You can also buy frozen egg whites in most super markets for around $7 for 950grams. works out cheaper than eggs but If your into free range your best to stick with eggs themselves.
  • My wife is vegetarian and has a few apps on her phone that are very handy in the supermarkets. "Animal free" and "cruelty free" are the two I copied so if I'm shopping I don't get her anything she can't eat. They are very handy for me as I'm still learning the bad ingredients.
  • Gee that would be the ultimate Poo throwing machine. I don't recall the yellow brick road having poo stains though.
  • Sorry but yes this is a serious post. Kangaroo is becoming quite popular for a lot of reasons. Its very low in fat (2%) its high in protein. Its the highest natural source of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) which has been shown to possess potential anti-carcinogenic and anti-diabetes properties, in addition to reducing…
  • yep, best way to do it if you eat lots of eggs and love the yolk. Another option is mix egg white with skim milk and a flavouring (I use Milo) . When mixed well it thickens up similar to a smoothy/thickshake minus all the sugar. I have this every day.
  • Its amazing how easy it is to focus on that fat around the belly, legs ect ect and then when you start to loose it you also start to notice other spots you were storing fat. I have reached my goal weight and only had to loose 7kg (15-16pounds) to achieve it (I have stretched it a little more as Im enjoying the challenge:-)…
  • My morning tea every day consists of my own meal replacement shake and gets me to lunch. I have 600 mls of skim milk or light soy milk with 2 egg whites, I use full eggs with yolk every 3-4 days for a change and energy boost. And 15 grams of Milo. It's a lot cheaper than any MR powders and as far as I'm concerned does just…

  • Im currently looking into upgrading an old HRM and have been doing some research. Work out what features you want. Do you want GPS included or a footpood to measure distance? Im looking into the Garmin FR60 which comes with a footpod. I also plan to upload my runs from the watch to my PC. I like the Polars but you need to…
  • I would of picked running as the most effective being most runners are very lean.
  • 1500 calories for 10km seems too much. I have pasted an abstract below which has a formula you can use to work out calories a little better. What's the Burn? A Calorie Calculator You can use the formulas below to determine your calorie-burn while running and walking. The "Net Calorie Burn" measures calories burned, minus…
  • Im pretty sure alcohol slows your metabolism down. So if your counting calories and not going over your limit and still not loosing weight this is probably the case. Its a tough one to deal with as its unlikely your going to want to go for a jog after a few wines to wake your metabolism. Maybe look at eating super healthy…
  • My podiatrist recomended Asics Nimbus Shoes for myself to assist my gait and lower back issues. They are very expensive shoes but by far the best shoes I have ever bought. My wife got a pair after I raved about them and she says they are like walking on Pillows. In saying that we both have neutral feet which they are…
  • Might even be an idea to see a podiatrist. They should also know what shoes will suit you the best. I went to one and I took her advice on shoes and couldn't be happier. In regards to exercise, walking is a very good start. Its also the easiest to be consistent at. Some ways to motivate yourself are timing your walks and…
