  • So far I have lost 21 lbs and I'm still running on week 5 after starting the program over.
  • I cruise carnival all the time. I think this is a great idea go ahead and start planning.
  • Just finished running and walking a total or three miles. I love C25k
  • Just finished w3D1 and it was though on the first 3 minute run but a little easier on the second. This is my second time doing c25k. I stopped in the beginning of may at the end of week 4.
  • Just finished w3d1 on hills. The first 3 minutes was straight up hill before a slight leveling out. I was almost completely spent but I pushed through. The second three minutes was a breeze on level ground. I feel good because after running my wife and I walked about another 15 minutes back to our home. Afterward we did…
  • Yes, I'm still running on these hills. LOL
  • Nice run I'm proud of you. I just completed w2 d3 again and I add a week1 run after the cool down. So my wife and I are completing two runs a day. Now this won't continue when we do week 3 next week, I felt that I needed to run a little more because I really wasn't winded. I started the program over because I felt I had to…
  • Congrats... Yea it appears everyone has left. Well we can still support each other.
  • I just started back c25k. I was on week 5 when I stopped due to surgery and then a vacation. This time I started back at week2. I just finished w2d1. I'm feeling really good.
  • I'm back and running again just finished w2D1. I started over
  • I just restarted week 4 after completing it a week and a half ago. I had surgery on my head and wasn't able to work out. I feel absolutely horrible after completing w4d1. I will try not to have any breaks in my workout. I wasn't able to complete the full run of week 4.
  • Completed WK5D1 yesterday at the track. I decided to use the track for the longer runs due to the excessive amount of hills in my neighbor that I braved during the first 4 weeks of the program. I was able to complete the run with no knee pains yesterday only shin splints. I ran the first 5min run without any issues and the…
  • Starting week 5 tomorrow and I'm nervous. I delayed the start to give my knee time to recover after finishing week 4 on monday. I'm also doing a relay for life run on saturday. I will take the run easy by doing as much as I can and not forcing anything.
  • Congrats. I'm doing C25k and just finished week 4 a few minutes ago. You all should join our C25K forum. Here is the link http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/204915-couch-to-5k-start-4-4-11
  • SPCOPPS no matter what you do just stick with it. Any exercise is better than none. I have to remember that for myself at times when I feel discouraged.
  • Just finished my last run for week4 and I added three minutes of walking before my last 5 minutes of running. I'm still moving on to week 5 even thought I had to add the walking. If I don't move on I fear I will feel that I failed and get discouraged. I'm participating in the Relay for Life event in Raleigh this week and…
  • I'm back from my Vegas trip and I actually found that I had lost weight...lol wasn't expecting that when I got back. I'm ready to do my last run of week4.
  • I did wk4d2 today and got through the first runs fine. The seconds 3 and five minutes very even more difficult than day 1. My knee was very sore I stop running and paused the program to rest during the second 3 minute run and again for 50 sec during the second 5 minute run. I think I really tweaked my knee. It is really…
  • ALW65 - Don't worry about this weekend because you will get back into the swing of things this week. Congrats on the W2 run, yea I do forget to pat myself on the backalot. Again thanks for all the support you give it reaaly helps me. I check this site before and after each run also while i'm a work and on my iphone. LOL…
  • Run first part of wk4d1 run went well. I finished both the 3 and 5 minute runs up and downhill with no problems. I completed the second 3 minute at a slower past doing up and down hills and curves on a running path through the neighborhood. During th last walk I had to add an additional two minutes of walking to catch my…
  • Getting ready to run wk4D1...Wish me luck...
  • Just completed WK3D3 run and I feel good. I run nonstop on every run. The last three minute run was crucial but towards the end of the run I ran down hill so I wasn't all that bad. Lungs were on fire. I don't know how I will make the Wk4D1 on friday. I need motivation.
  • Don't worry hang in there and keep pushing.
  • Just completed w3d2 run went extremely well until last run. I stopped for 12 seconds to catch my breathe then finished the run. Again I had just completed an uphill run and a very steep incline. After completing the run during the cool down I sprinted about 120 yards down hill and back up hill in about 40 seconds to make…

  • I'm doing it along with several others on our C25k thread. Since I've started I've dropped some good weight.
  • Off to do wk3d2. I completed wk3d1 on friday and I was exhausted, mainly because of the hills. I run at my own pace and my goal is to keep moving. I won't try to improve time yet, I just want to get through it. I ran 3 minutes nonstop for the first time since 2001 when I was in college on the track team.
  • "Hi Cutiger - Thanks for the link to this. It definitely is very inspiring. I'm glad to hear you did W3 in your hilly section of town. It gives me hope for tomorrow in my neighborhood. I had put my route into another site and it said I have a three foot incline - now that's a serious hill! I'm still having a tough time…
