Thank you alyhuggan. I plan to do that as well. I plan to do weight training as well. I love lifting weights. I plan to do a balanced workout to make sure that all my body is evenly strengthened. I appreciate everyone's advice. It will be a long journey, but I will do it and I will succeed.

Mostly muscle pain. I do have shin splints, but once I got a good pair of shoes I didn't have much problem. It feels like my legs are exhausted, almost like they don't get enough sleep(if that makes sense) I weigh somewhere between 350-360. I have to go to the gym to use their scale because mine doesn't go that high.

I am just referencing my past experience at this point. I am in the process of setting up my nutrition plan and exercise plan to start March 1st. I intend to keep my protein intake high. I am not sure exactly what it will be though.

Thank you for all the suggestions. It's amazing how simple these things are and I knew about them, but just didn't put it together. I had it stuck in my head that I needed to have meat, but I couldn't microwave my chicken or salmon unless I precooked it, but I don't have time to cook everyday.

My end goal is to run a whole marathon, but right now I am training to run a leg in a marathon at 3.5 miles. I don't want to be embarrassed with my time. I was thinking along the same lines as some of you with one day doing distance and then next day doing speed.

I just completed day 3 have P90X and it is going to be one of the most difficult things that I will ever do, but I would highly recommend it. If you are only going to get 1 of them then I would say P90X. If you are going to get 1 and then get the other after the program to continue the workout then I would say Insanity…

I'm sorry if I am repeating because I only read your post, but the most common reason for the negative feedback is because of jealousy. They also want to change something in their life, but they don't have the drive and motivation to do it.

I would recomend getting in a morning exercise. A really good one that will get your heart rate racing. It is good for you body obviously, but it will give you that extra motivation throughout the day to stay on track. Don't change your eating from what you are supposed to do. Don't eat less calories. Just stay on track…

Starting weight for April was 307. I am down to 282 today. That is a 25lb weight loss in the month of April. I am so happy and thankful to everyone that helped and supported me. I hope that I can also be a inspiration to everyone. To those that didn't get the 10lbs. You are still doing good. Don't be discouraged and keep…

That is my biggest problem too. No matter my mood I turn to food. What I have been doing is going for walks. Just put on some good music and go for a walk and try to block out everything else in your life.

I am in for May if you have the space.

I weighed in today at 286lbs. That is a 21lbs weight lose in April. I am feeling great and I hope that I am motivating others to do great as well.

Try eating your exercise calories back one week and see if you notice a difference. Also make sure you are doing strength training as well

April starting weight 207 and weighed in today at 193. That is a 14lbs difference so far in April. It is like McDonalds, I'm loving it.

Couch to 5k is a program that you get download on your smart phone or ipod or you can just follow it from the website. It basically starts you on a 20 minute program 3 times a week where you alternate running and walking. It is working you into being a runner.

I just wanted to give everyone an update. I did find a pair of shoes. I was recommended, according to the way I run, a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11. I have been doing a lot of walking and the shoes have helped with my shins. I started my running today. I decided that I was just going to go out there and run and see…

Just listen to your body. If it is telling you that you NEED food then eat, but if you are feeling good then you can go under your 1800.
-
Congrats man. I just went under the 300lbs mark too. It feels good.

Forgot to post weight. SW was 207 and CW is 197.

You look amazing. Keep up the awesome work and keep inspiring us all to keep going.

That's good, but remember portions. It's alright to try something you enjoy, but keep it to a limit.

"Till I collapse" has been my go to song since high school days. That song always gets my blood flowing. Another one is Guano Apes "Open your Eyes"

Is it better to let yourself hit that plateau and then start eating the calories back?
