  • Yes definitely correct, I have noticed that as well when I run. I will have to try to concentrate on that also, that may help.
  • Hmmm... This actually was during TOM too.... Ok. So sounds like due to the fact that I have naturally low blood pressure and TOM came to visit, it made my Max higher, maybe I was dehydrated too. At least that is what I am going with, lol. So glad I posted this!!! Thanks so much everyone, I feel a lot better. I was freaking…
  • Well add me to that list! I have pretty low blood pressure...that is very interesting... I love researching theories, I will check this out :)
  • I do a variety of workouts. Just got done with one month of insanty about 3 weeks ago. Now I do turbokick, piloxing, running, weight lifting, etc. So I guess it would be interval stuff because my HR is not up there the whole time, I do average about 156 - 160. So, I guess its pretty normal. Thanks for all the comments! I…
  • I guess this is what worries me though, I have been working out pretty regularly for 8 months now, and its all of a sudden increasing? I started at 175 lbs, now I am at 160. Shouldn't it be decreasing as time goes on? I am a worrier by nature, so maybe I will just give it more time and it will be fine...
  • Thanks! So yours goes above 200?? What does that mean, lol. I also read an article somewhere that suggested cutting down the intensity of your workouts for a short period of time to get it to come down a little. But do you think this would really help in the long run or would you say don't worry about it and keep on…
  • OP, Then STOP posting. What was said here makes perfect sense. You are eating too much, as everyone has said to you in one way or another. I personally have come to the realization that I have a binge eating disorder. I used to think that eating 6 cookies, and then a bowl of cereal, and then some french fries with ranch,…
  • I love this!!! This is so true. You have to do it for you and nobody else. My hubby is the same way. He can eat whatever he wants and not gain weight. He would make brownies and cookies all of the time and it was soooo hard for me to say no to those things. Finally, I told him that he was making it so much harder for me…
  • This is kind of how it is for me. I am at 14 lbs lost now, and I am feeling more comfortable when people ask. Before though, I felt like saying "9 or 11 lbs" wasn't very much and I felt uncomfortable saying it. I always felt like I had to explain more saying that I have focused more on "toning up" then actually losing…
  • That is awesome, Congrats!! I had the same trouble at the beginning of my journey... I felt like the scale just wasn't moving fast enough. But I just kept on going and 14 lbs later and a few pants sizes smaller I am loving it! You just have to keep it up no matter what and I am sure you will accomplish your goals! There is…
  • Its so nice to see so many other mom's who find/make time for their health! I struggled with this for a while, but I am finally getting back into the swing of things. I work full time outside of the home and have two beautiful little girls, 7 years old and 2 years old. I have to wake up and get them ready for…
  • Already graduated college, been there done that and I know what its like :) I log in every day and try to be as supportive as I can and I expect the same from my pals. If you plan on being someone like that, feel free to add me :) Send me a message with your goals, and I will be happy to help support you to get there!
  • Thanks!! I love those quotes too :) I am going to have to put those on my profile :)
  • This thread is seriously amazing!! This gives me so much hope!! And it is so good to see that the real huge transformations come from eating a good amount of calories! You ladies are all an inspiration. Great work and thanks OP for posting :flowerforyou:
  • Thanks!! Do you know how to make the pics smaller without reloading the pics? THey are so huge! lol
  • I started to try to lose weight at 5'6, 175 lbs and a size 38 GG. I am now, 161 lbs and I can definitely tell that my boobs have shrunk, but not by a whole lot. I haven't gotten fitted recently, but I know I am at least a 36, I would say probably still an E though. I have had a large chest ever since I can remember, I had…
  • Thanks ladies!!! I am trying! Slowly but surely, I am getting there :)
  • Thanks!! I do have so much more energy to keep up with my awesome little munchkins :) I love it!
  • thanks!! Sorry if the pics are huge, lol. I am doing this from my phone, so the pics dont even show up on my end, lol.
  • That is amazing! What did you do to lose the weight? You look great! You should be very proud :)
  • Actually, that is one thing I do a LOT of. I always do my own stretching after insanity, because I don't feel like the stretches that they do are right for me personally. I do a lot of back stretches and arm stretches also that they don't do on insanity. However, I am not sure if I specifically know of any "knee" stretches…
  • I know, I know, lol. Thanks for the tip on the jumps...That really does help.
  • SO two votes for barefoot!! Thanks so much for the advice. I will definitely be trying this now!
  • I am definitely worried that my form is off now, especially with the squats. I tend to try to go too fast and not worry about form. Maybe I should just slow down a little during the workouts to get my form right.... Thanks!
  • I have actually heard this too. Before insanity I did group classes and our instructor recommended being barefoot, she actually had these special socks that we could buy that had grips on the bottom. I am just nervous to do the Insanity kind of stuff without shoes. But I am willing to try anything so I don't get an injury!…
  • Thanks lady!! That is good advice! This compression strap, what exactly is that? Do you have any websites in particular that you used to research? I will definitely look into this. It's so weird because I have never had knee issues before :( Anyone else that has done insanity have knee issues????
  • I have a Polar FT7 and LOVE it!!! Polars and Fitbits do completely different things so it just depends on what you want to use it for. If you want something that will give you your calories burned for any type of workout, go with a Polar. If you want something to wear all day to get you motivated to move more, get a…
  • All of these suggestions are great! I am keeping this thread for later :) Also, I wanted to add one thing. I know some people don't like processed foods, but I am horrible with mornings so I need something to grab and go. I get the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches - its turkey sausage, egg whites and cheese on a croissant,…
