  • I like "90 degree by reflex" capris, for obstacle course racing, because they are made of man made material and dry quickly when u get wet and muddy but they are made with a lot of polyester.I favor the ones with the high waist and they do make both high and low waist (so make sure u try them on) ;-)I get mine at TJ Maxx…
  • I did a 10 mile hike/obstacle course on a mountain, and I gained 2 lbs... it went away after a few days, just keep eating properly, drinking lots of water and and logging it all. ;-) you're doing great! :-D Friend me if u want, we'll encourage each other;-)
  • Welcome :) I'm sorry to say I'm not that familiar with kettlebell workouts, I was always a free weights kind of girl, now I tend to do more bodyweight exercises. but... I have recently ( within the last year) gotten into obstacle course racing and I find that cardio and using my own body weight against me, so to speak,…
  • Omg, my shoulders burn! lol love it! Ty! I think I'm going to add this to my regular routine:-) the lady in the video has the best arms I've ever seen in my life lol :-) that's a good motivator :-)
  • Welcome speaktheword :-) add me if you like, we can help support each other. ;-) And don't be hard on yourself, while having radiation...?...., you had enough things to worry about!! are you feeling stronger? has the doctor recommended that you cut calories?because I know that when your body is fighting, you need to be…
  • Go ahead and add me as well:-) we'll get back on track together! :-D (I had lost 30 and gained some back too because of not tracking meals and inconsistency with exercising :-P .....back on the wagon, lol)

  • Hi, May I please get in on the group as well?:-) I did this 3 years ago, and lost almost 30 lbs.... then went through a painful divorce, started a new career, and gained Most of it back. :O I'm ready to get back on the saddle, and put the past behind me.I have fallen in love with obstacle courses and recently did the Tough…
  • sargento reduced fat string cheese. 50 cals a piece This has helped me, many a times. It is fine out of the fridge for a little while.
  • Have you been to a doctor? Perhaps you have a medical condition that makes you so tired all of the time, example: hypoactive thyroid. Maybe you are not lazy, as you say, perhaps you are just "wiped out" because of something going on in ur body. See what ur doc says, then let me know. I will be happy to help u stay…
  • 27 lbs in 4 months. I eat a lot of squash, cucumbers, apples and fresh pineapple. I am also much more active than I used to be.
  • 8 cals for 4 oz for alfalfa sprouts--- sorry, not 12, but I would imagine that the chick peas would be the highest in cals, depending on how many "a few" chick peas are, and your portion sizes, 450 cals seems high to me
  • That seems like an easy way. I tend to like to make things difficult on myself. (lol) Once I have used items a coulpe of times, it pops up in frequently used. I then just edit the portion I consume of each item, and get it that way. My guess is that you are already doing that. Sorry, I do not have another way. I eat a lot…
  • That's incredible! Great Job!
  • Jax/Cheetos, and potato chips and brie (not together, of course, lol  ) jIf I have them around, it will be the kiss of death to this new lifestyle. I just LOVE them, but they cause more damage than good. I need to just leave them in the past. They are no longer a part of my life style and if i really start to head…
  • So many things count as exercise. I set my activity level as seditary,(even though I am always running around), so I can count house cleaning, gardening, walking the dog, etc.... all as exercise. There must be things that u can do to add extra exercise to ur life. You can park ur car farther away, when u r at work, or at a…
  • Hi. I have been going through a similar situation. I back-slided 6 lbs. I was studing for my boards, but passed, on the 13th, and still havn't gotten my sh#t together, so to speak. I keep going over on my cals. daily, and can't seem to straighten up. We can help each other if you would like...
  • I have found that buying fresh produce can be quite expencive, especially in the winter time, but I look at it as a good investment. I am investing in myself. Either I pay now, and live a healthy lifestyle, ( a little at a time) OR, I pay later, with hospital bills. My obesity increases my chances of diabetes mellitis,…
  • Are you a weight lifter? I only ask, because of the pic u used. The reason I asked, is that muscle weighs more than fat, and perhaps you should measure yourself. You may be losing inches, just not pounds. Try it. Whenever my scale won't budge, I check my tape measure, and more often than not, I have toned up and slimmed a…
  • At first, I was a little lost, of course, but then, they have the tutorial section, and a practice clip, if there are moves that u need to focus on, it splits the whole routine apart, and u can focus just on the part that u may be confused on. That's what I've been doing. This was only my second time, and I feel as though…

  • Way to go! Nice job! Yay you!!! Even with practice, it is still tough for me. It's 1 small victory at a time, (for me.) I just tell myself that I have had (whatever the item is,) before, and that I am not missing out. When I eat those things, I continue the cycle of not being able to join in and go shopping in the…
  • Can I be in too? This sounds fun! It will give me an even bigger reason to get out and hike with the dogs! They need the exercise to stay out of trouble, and I need the exercise to get out of and stay out of a size 18 pant! Let's do this!
