So I began using MFP in May and absolutely loved it but due to some unforseen tragedies I wasn't as dedicated to the program. I have fallen off the wagon and rolled down the hill...and now am slowly trying to climb back up. I think I probably weigh a little more now than I did when I started here but haven't checked…

Amy's Vegetarian Enchilada with Spanish Rice and Beans...Mmmmm

College is actually where I gained all of the weight I'm trying to lose. It wasn't freshman 15 but sophmore 20 which came from the beer drinking, 2 am fast food runs...ewww! I'm glad I am slowly getting back on track now though even if it is still difficult.
-
I actually have thought about that before as well...Thanks for both of your opinions! :flowerforyou:

I was just wondering if anyone has any good advice on the whole "moving in with the boyfriend" thing. I've never lived with anyone before but the guy I am seeing lives an hour away and keeps talking about wanting to move in with me into our own place so we can see each other every day. We've only been dating for six months…

It sounds like what you are doing is more of circuit training which is a combo of strength training and cardio. Your time you would enter is the total time you work out! Hope this helps

My mom had a friend who tried the salad diet and she lost plenty of weight. But now she literally cannot eat other foods because she gains weight so quickly when she does. Bummer!
-
I went for a 3 mile run at 5 am...had to get it in before work. Can't wait till I can get up to 5 miles!!!

My boyfriend and I are going to dinner and a movie tonight then Typhoon Lagoon (Disney water park) tomorrow

We're either taking a cruise to the Bahamas or just gonna go to Vero Beach...either way we're leaving in 2-3 weeks!!!:noway:

Hey everyone!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has this problem but I am doing really well Mondays through Thursdays then I completely blow it Friday through Saturday (sometimes Sunday too!) One of my problems is that I have a boyfriend who has the metabolism of a 13 year old cheerleader and he eats (and drinks)…

Amy's vegetarian Indian Mattar Paneer frozen meal (320 cals) and a 100 calorie pack of Cheese Nips for a snack in a couple hours.

think that the calories remain the same as long as your weekly weight loss goal remains the same...I'm not positive though (I'm also pretty new at this). Correct me if I'm wrong guys:smile:

I had a salad with strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, and non fat rasberry dressing.

This is a salad my mom makes every summer for bbq's and such but I love to take it to work for lunch. 2 cups Lettuce 4 small strawberries sliced 1/4 cup of mandarin oranges 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 3 tbsp of Ken's Fat Free Rasberry Dressing Only 325 calories...YUMMY!!!

My mom works out to him...but says he's so good looking it's distracting:laugh:

I am in the exact same situation right now. I thought I was going to come home and make some brown rice and veggies but instead saw the left over pizza my boyfriend had last night and had 2 slices of it. At least your munching on healthy foods :grumble:
-
I usually get whole wheat toast with a side of fruit. If I feel like splurging just a little I order an eggwhite veggie omlette with no cheese and none of the sides that come with it.
-
Absolutely! It's really good for the entire core but I feel it in my entire body!
-
I loooove planks!!! Especially side ones for the area that seems impossible for me to reach with just regular crunches. I would explain it but it would probably be better understood if you look at this website: http://www.bodyresults.com/E2planks.asp

I  HUNGRY-GIRL.COM!!! I went on it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and now I'm hooked.

That stuff is amazing! I had a lot of small ulcers on my esophogus that were causing really bad pains a few years back and I started taking a tbsp. of it every night and they actually went away  !!! Being that it's natural I can't see there being any negatives to using this

Going to a party that my boyfriend's dad is having...this means I will be tempted with ribs, wings, chili and beer from 4:30 pm until probably around 4:30 in the morning. Wish me luck!

I always try to eat as close to the recommended calories as I possibly can. I have only been on here for 2 weeks but most posts I have seen have highly recommended eating all of your work out calories. I try to eat healthy foods like hummus, air popped pop corn, fruit, oatmeal, and the like whenever I have extra calories…

I love the Firm DVD's. They all combine weight training and cardio/step for around an hour. The only other thing you'd need is what they call "The Fanny Lifter" (i.e. an adjustable step). I love love love it!

OMG I just had my first Luna bar...I tried the Nutz over chocolate and LOVED it!!! It only has 180 calories, 4.5 grams of fat and it has 10 grams of protein, which means it is very filling. It is delicious!!!
-
I used to get a latte every morning before work...Holy Calories Batman!!! I recently decided to switch from coffee to green tea and it still wakes me up but without all of the calories/chemicals added from the sugar/cream.

I feel the same way FitK. I had lost 3 lbs. after a week on MFP. Then after this past weekend I gained 2 of them back...very discouraging. But I know what I need to do to make sure that doesn't happen (i.e. pass on the pizza and beer LOL). I'm sure everyone has bad days and as long as we bounce back from them we will be…
