Okay... 143, 145, 143, 145, 143, 145... get my drift!?!?! :grumble:

And I only have myself to blame! That's what makes me the most upset! :frown:

I will have a few good days then blow them with a couple bad ones... I can't seem to get on the straight and narrow and stay there! This is strange b/c when I've set my head straight in the past I've not had such a problem sticking with my goals, but since my little boy has gotten here it's been like pulling teeth to stay on a routine - eating or exercising! I know I should probably get use to that since there is no such thing nothing ever seems to go as planned with a little one. But I really think I only have myself to blame!

Sorry to bother you all with this... I just think that maybe if I admit my fault publically then hopefully it will give me the kick in the rear that I need to GET WITH IT!

Those sound like the two pounds I'm fighting over. I need my routine back and something to keep me busy when home in the evening. I did great the first few weeks, lost weight now I stopped losing and also lost the will keep fighting. Now the game is on!!

    Heya Fit,

I know the feeling all too well (except I still have multiple two pounds to lose). Seems like I can go a couple of weeks with no losses at all and then *BAM* I'll have a 4 pound loss overnight.

I don't really know if it's so much you, or just your body adjusting and trying to figure out where it needs to be. In any case, keep the faith!

(You look great by any stretch...it *is* only two pounds....(devil's advocate!!! muhahahaha!)

Thanks Guys! I am going to do what I can to break the cycle!

It's pretty basic - a matter of getting my head screwed on straight! haha!

I really appreciate the sympathy, encouragement, and advise. In any case I am SO GLAD that I have you all to talk to and help things along! :smooched: You make it all worth while! Good luck to y'all too! :flowerforyou:

    Thank you!!!

  • I feel the same way FitK. I had lost 3 lbs. after a week on MFP. Then after this past weekend I gained 2 of them back...very discouraging. But I know what I need to do to make sure that doesn't happen (i.e. pass on the pizza and beer LOL). I'm sure everyone has bad days and as long as we bounce back from them we will be fine

A variation of 2 lbs is normal, if just because of shifting water retention. I would recommend only considering weight variation of 4-5 lbs or more.

    Hey there!

You're doing great! At least your not in denial! :) Being accountable is a wonderful tool for successful weight loss.

And honestly, life WILL get in the way sometimes and you are human. Mistakes can be a wonderful way for us to learn (especially in this journey). Don't beat yourself up. You look great and are doing a wonderful job. You will bust through this plateau and before you know it, you will be at your goal. I KNOW you will!

    Take care!

Thanks again! Ya'll are the best!! :flowerforyou:

Thanks for the compliments Tami and Sgt! You all also look awesome!!! Hubba, Hubba!!!

Well, after thinking about things I really think that I have set my goal too high (5 lbs. too high). So I have re-evaluated my weight loss goal to 10 lbs instead of 15 lbs. I believe that maybe I have been intimidating myself too much by saying that I want to get down to 130. That sounds like a good weight for someone who is 5'4" but, honestly, that would be VERY HARD for me to maintain due to my body frame (I have a medium-large frame and a pretty athletic build). I wasn't even that low in high school!

ANYWAY... my new goal weight is 135 lbs. I feel like a weight has already been lifted! That goal is definitely much more attainable! And who knows when I get there then I can think about going lower but right now 10 lbs. is my focus!!! :drinker:

I LOVE YA'LL SO MUCH!!! :smooched:  :smooched:
