Back on the wagon???

So I began using MFP in May and absolutely loved it but due to some unforseen tragedies I wasn't as dedicated to the program. I have fallen off the wagon and rolled down the hill...and now am slowly trying to climb back up. I think I probably weigh a little more now than I did when I started here but haven't checked because I don't want to get depressed. I am ready to rededicate myself to a healthy lifestyle but it seems that everyday is a struggle. Has anyone else experienced this recently? I could really use some words of encouragement...Thanks!

I hear you!!!!! Summer has been hard for me!!! There is too much going on! I don't really want to get on the scale. So first of all, you are not alone!!! The best thing is that you recognize you have fallen off the wagon and want to take action as soon as possible. The same with me...we are all human, not perfect. And life is not perfect...there will always be challenges along the way. The key is to know how to deal with those challenges and not get off the path for too long...Hang in there! You can do it!!!:flowerforyou:0

Hey! I can totally relate! I started MFP in November 2007. By February 2008 I had lost 20 pounds. But, then I went on vacation and to top it off, my father-in-law had a heart attack. So...I totally fell off the wagon and still have not gotten back on. I ended up gaining 10 pounds back. So...I am starting over just this week. I have 34 pounds to lose and keep off. So...if you need some support, I can totally help! WE CAN DO THIS!!!! I joined the Labor Day Challenge and would like to lose 7 pounds by then. Please feel free to join. And I will be weighing in every week. So...welcome back and let's do this!!!!

Sometimes in life we need to see what it feels like to really disappoint ourselves and fall off the wagon. You'll know how you feel when you don't push through so this time you can go at it will a ferocity that you may otherwise not have had. File this feeling for the next time you're feeling like quitting and just remember that YOU CAN DO IT!!!0
