  • I am 5'2 and 120 at my smallest. I can't imagine you have much fat to lose. That is a pretty healthy weight to maintain. Just eat healthy and do regular strength training :)
  • Heyyyy! Been bf'ing my youngest for 20 months now. Got into the habit of eating whatever I wanted and not gaining weight because of it. Now he only nurses at night and the pounds are catching up to me. Looking to get healthier and meet some other mommies :)
  • Thanks for the info. I would guess beef is a no-no because of the proteins? same thing with milk. I have been tracking my calories and surprisingly it hasn't been too difficult yet. I made a hearty chicken stew and I drink fruit smoothies everyday. Adding coconut and olive oil definitely boosts the healthy fat content.
  • Blood test only works for true allergies, not sensitive stomachs.
  • I have to stick with the strict diet for 2-3 weeks then I can slowly add things back. Most likely I will stay dairy, soy and gluten free for the next year.
  • I have 2 kids but can't blame them as I was under 130 when I left the hospital both times. The little ones actually helped me stay in shape. I was always on the go and forgot to eat most times LOL. Once they grew a bit older I slowed down, that plus age and the weight snuck up on me. I was around 160, just started eating…
  • Is this challenge still going on? I'm 5'2 and right about 175. I need motivation! feel free to add me :)
  • I'm in the same boat. add me!
  • I get most of my protein from egg whites with spinach and cheese for breakfast. CLIF protein bars are good for on the go.
  • I make a casserole similar to this and always add onion/garlic powder plus pepper and shredded cheese. That recipe is not for anyone who is watching their sodium. Those canned soups are SALTY.
  • From my own personal experience, you don't lose weight unless those 1200 calories are healthy. If you're eating McDonald's once a day or mostly junk food to equal the 1200, you won't lose. If you are on a weight loss journey it is also important to exercise.
  • We have the same wedding dress! except mine was red :) Yes, I agree with the small cooler. Just stick with fruits and veggies, maybe a few granola bars, trailmix w/nuts and raisens, crackers, peanut butter. If you have to eat fast food get a sandwich or $1 chicken without mayo. I bet once you get back to work and stay extra…
  • The flavored creamer is full of sugar, haha!
  • chocolate! and pasta! I crave these foods every single day! probably the reason I've gained weight.
  • Soda should be considered a 'treat'. If you really crave it, have one. Don't drink it everyday just because it's there ya know? Water is much healthier. Some people who are addicted to caffeine have withdrawal headaches. So if you drink diet coke on a regular basis I would say to gradually decrease it instead of stopping…
  • I'm pretty useless the first day. The fatigue really hits me the worst so I just use that as a rest day. After that I go about everything normally. Try taking some pain meds before your workout, tylenol or advil should help.
  • You lost nearly 200 pounds! That is definitely something to be proud of. Try looking at old pictures from 2008 and compare to now. You can't get discouraged by the short term progress, look at the WHOLE journey. A few years from now you'll weigh even less and feel great! Everyone has bad days. You just have to remember to…

  • Olive Garden or Red Lobster!
  • Nooo, I'm paranoid about texts. Even when I send 'i love yous' to my hubby I make sure to double check the name. Have you ever broken any bones?
  • chocolate or pasta! if either one of those were calorie free I would be one skinny b*tch LOL
  • I bought the Shred dvd 1 year ago and it's still unopened. Thanks for the motivation to finally get started!
  • Hi, I just joined yesterday! I have 2 kids ages 8 and 5. They are in school now but I was lucky enough to get to stay home with them and watch them grow up until now. Please add me, I need good motivating friends :)
  • I've felt like that before too. I would run and then if I saw anyone I would slow down to a normal walk. Then RUUUUUUN when nobody was watching. That's hard to do at the gym though. Honestly, people won't really notice you running/jogging. At the gym they are focused on their own workout. Outside, people are busy doing…
  • One of my favorites is stirfry. Brown rice with veggies and a little soy sauce. I add shrimp to mine but you can cook it anyway you want.
