I love zumba! And of course it gets easier with practice, but I don't like when it gets easy (that means you're not really working!) so I try to switch up the videos/classes as much as possible. It's a blast, though. Sure makes my workout just fly by.

Boredom eating. And also that part of my brain that says "Girl you're a babe no matter how much you weigh." Which is nice, but not encouraging when it comes to staying on a proper eating schedule.

Just a heads up though, I never thought my legs would burn so when I went tubing down the river I coated my arms/back with sunscreen and just put a thin layer on my legs. Not a good idea. Protect those babies just like you would any other part of your body. Pants suck with burned legs.

When I got home last night I went for a little jog to see if my legs could handle anything. As soon as my heart rate got up the pain got pretty intense. I ended up skipping the zumba and soaked in a super cold bath then coated my legs in aloe. Today they feel waaaaaay better. Still pretty red but the pain isn't there…

If I wanted to just make up excuses I wouldn't make a forum asking if it was okay for me to workout. I think you're just here to be an *kitten*, right? It's unnecessary.

Thanks everyone. I knew I probably shouldn't do it, I just needed a little reassurance I wasn't being a big baby about it lol.

*I haven't read the other comments yet* Eat lots of protein and if you feel like it's not true hunger, but rather just boredom hunger (which I get almost chronically) go for a walk to take your mind off of it. :)

Make sure to switch up your meals and your workouts so your body doesn't get used to it. Look into HIIT. I'm a big fan of IF. Try a ton of different things and see what works for you. It's a journey, not a race.

Starting really is the hardest part no matter how much you have to lose! One little tip of advice for you, Marvin: when you first start you're going to lose quite a bit pretty quickly but then it's going to slow down a LOT. Don't let that discourage you. That was my main problem. When you have a lot to lose it will fall…

It's okay if I'm not moving but when I'm walking it starts to sting. I'm worried about the combination of the extra body heat, the movement, and the sweat causing it to get worse. I can suck it up as long as it's not going to make it any worse. I've never had sunburned legs before either. It's quite irritating more than…

Any input?

Hey there! We've actually got a pretty great group for binge eating support. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/726-binge-eating-support-group Check it out!

Great job! You look amazing!

That's awesome! I wish I could still have that lung capacity. I've only been smoking for 2 years and it feels like 20.
-
Well, what is your current height and weight? If you're eating too little and you don't have a TON to lose, you might be losing straight up muscle.
-
I ask myself if it's worth the guilt I'll feel later. Also, I do allow myself to cheat a little bit on the weekends so if there's something I REALLY want I'll have it then. Depriving yourself is only going to make it worse.

Walking as always good, as everyone else has stated. But I also say keep doing the 30 day shred, just do it at your own pace. If you have to take breaks, fine. If you have to make the moves easier, that's okay too. Eventually it will get easier and that's how you know you're getting fitter! Also, quit smoking. I'm a smoker…

That is all completely dependent on a few factors such as; 1) how much water you're drinking. 2) what kind of exercises you're doing. 3) how much you have to lose. If you drink about 2 liters of water a day and make sure you're doing cardio you're going to lose water weight faster. (At least in my experience. If I'm wrong,…

I'm trying to comfortably wear a crop top too!

Damn girl! Good job!

Great job!

I used to skip breakfast all the time and it didn't impact my weight loss. The only thing that does is calories in vs. calories out. Timing is irrelevant. I only eat breakfast now because apparently I can't handle coffee without food anymore.

Have you seen her face? (Or her body?) That woman is a godsend.

I'll take Ruby Rose since she was offered. :*

For my days when I am ridiculously sore I either take a day off (it's just as important for your muscle to have rest days as it is to have workout days) or I do something light like walking a few miles or working on learning some new yoga poses. It really helps to stretch and open up your muscles so you can feel better the…

Thanks for all your input! Banish Fat sounds like a good one for me if it's circuits with no equipment! My only issue is I have a hard time staying focused on a video for too long, I think that's why I liked 30ds so much! I was going to look at Shred It, so I'm glad to hear before I buy it that it's not a good one. I don't…

Always looking for new friends!

This is all wonderful advice and I second this.

Amazing! You look great!

Great job! You really do look younger. It's a wonder what good diet and fitness can do in such a short period of time.
