We have a gym at my work for only $15 a month but I cancelled my membership because I was too embarrassed to work out there!
-
very cool, I want to try a rock wall!
-
Good for you! Take it one day at a time. There is plenty of support to be found here.

Yes! I hate it when the owner messes with the schedule or switches up the trainers for classes unexpectedly. A clean gym is also really important to me.
-
Sounds awesome. Is it a cross fit gym or other?

I miss my 6:00am class (which is currently on hold). It wasn't a big group of people and it knowing that they were expecting me made it easier to get out of bed that early. It's so nice to get a workout in before going to work. But if I don't have people expecting me..I hit snooze until it's too late!

haha, at least there's something good about it! ;)

I weigh in each morning before eating/drinking anything, after using the restroom, and clothes-free.

I switched my daily plan to eating every two hours to help with constantly being hungry. My goal is to eat 1200-1300 which makes me pretty hungry if I don't plan out my day to frequently eat and make sure I have plenty of protein and fiber. We all over do it from time to time. Hang in there!

I agree with this. I try to get a big workout in early and eat conservatively before/after the event. If you bring a healthy dish to share and make mindful decisions while you enjoy yourself, you can avoid having it ruin your week's process. I agree it's a challenge! Hang in there!

I love smoked fish! Guess that doesn't help with you question but I just wanted to say "yum" :)

Also looking for support buddies. Feel free to add me :)

I browsed the forums today (as I do on occasion) and I feel bad for people when I click on a post where someone is looking for support/confused about MFP/dieting/exercise etc. and about 10% of the comments are people being snarky with the OP. NM this is taking too much explaining. Happy to exchange ideas/support with…

Learned something new today. Thanks.

New to forums/not MFP. The HRM advice set today's annoyance in motion but I read the forums often and watch people rip on others constantly. Anyone else noticed it?

muhahahha let the evilness ensue  I'm stoked on being called young btw. That's the kind of hate I can get used to!

Maintaining a calorie deficit and staying on top of your logging and weighing foods will be the best way to lose belly weight. Without adjusting your eating, a specific exercise will probably not get you where you'd like to be. I suggest focusing on your diet and also adding some form of exercise to your week for at least…

I'm a learning lifter..have a lot to learn still! Plus I have some injuries that tend to get in the way..but I am down to motivate each other!

You got this! I had to start over too. Hang in there and you already made the first step!

I'm seeing a reduction but it probably will never be "perfect". I think it's just one of those things based on body type but the more I workout/lose the less I have.
-
ugh you'll notice that each forum turns into a debate. no reason to *kitten* on my suggestion when there really isn't another good way to get an accurate assessment. Guess I should have added that I mix cardio into my weight lifting routine and am happy with the HRM reads.

Always some form of eggs or egg whites, a breakfast protein and avocado. Last couple weeks have usually been an egg white scramble with: Trader Joe's Steamed Lentils Chicken or Turkey Breakfast Sausage 1/2 an Avocado Sprinkled or red pepper flakes High fiber AND protein..YUM

For the most part we (my fiancé and I) have given up diet soda and switched to sparkling water instead. I really like the La Croix flavored sparkling waters. No artificial sweeteners, calories, or caffeine.

Don't let this slip up ruin your goals! It's not a complete reverse of all your hard work. I had a very naughty weekend and the scale shows it. I am petite and just a few extra pounds (water weight or otherwise) show on my body. I immediately stopped beating myself up and got right back on track! You can do this! We are…
