I lost 45 pounds or so in the 8 months I was swimming. Thnext few months were slow as I didn't swim as regularly as I would have liked to. It was winter, I had exams and I fell off the wagon a little bit. Back to swimming and losing again. MFP puts my burn at 400 ish for a 40 minutes session. I burn more if I do a HIIT…

You need to eat back at least a portion of your exercise calories. Without that, you are netting 1200-200=1000 calories which might be too low for you.

It rained here in Kolkata and my swimming pool was swarming with insects. Couldn't get my workout in either yesterday or today. :-/ Will go walking tomorrow for sure. I am thinking of buying dumbbells too.

Wow. I would really like to start strength training at home since my weight loss has practically stalled after the initial 20 kgs. The gym seems a little intimidating for now, frankly. I'll check out the site. Thanks. What equipments, if any, did you guys buy?

@naruto- I run once a week. So, not much. Trying to take that number up slowly. Flat foot combined with heavy weight giving me a hard time. @jasneet- do you train at home or in the gym?

Did 40 minutes swimming in the pool. But since I was just splashing the kids during play time, probably should count only 35. What did everyone else do?

Okay. Advance apologies to the moderator and everyone. New on the group. Where do I introduce myself and stuff? Also, half may is gone. So, I pledge 30 minutes daily for whatever time is left, Cheers. :-D
