Count your own heart rate for 6 seconds at least, then add a zero. i.e. 20 beats in 6 seconds and you should see a doctor (age dependent of course, lowers with age)

One example is what some have called the whoosh affect.. At its basics, a fat cell at 50% lipids, will pull in 50% water to make the cell full. 25% lipids, 75% water. As you reduce the lipids in that cell to zero from a caloric deficit (exercise or not), the water also dumps out of the cell. Sometimes I have had this…

Like it was said, just use the MFP numbers... 1) Every 2-3 weeks, average out your weekly weight loss 2) adjust your MFP calorie targets up or down to keep a steady loss at 2-3lbs per week for your current weight 3) repeat every 2-3 weeks.

I do it, helps me with diet compliance, quite a few studies around GH and other hormone improvements around fat loss and muscle retention. It's nice to train heavy on just BCAA's in the morning and eat a monster lunch. Also check out Eat-Stop-Eat, by Brad Pilon... he is the research guy who provides a lot of good material…
