  • Not a broke toe but I have bruised the ball of my foot pretty bad. I am laying off the cardio until it heals a bit and instead going to do some lifting to keep things moving the way I want. Might want to just lift a bit and do things that are not going to put stress on that part of the foot
  • 10 lbs is totally doable. If you eat right and add in exercise you can pull even more than that by Thanksgiving. I started at the first of August weighing 367 and today I got on the scale for the heck of it and was down to 350. You got this. I did send you a friend request as well
  • P90X2 does a lot of exercise ball stuff in it.
  • You will need some heavier dumbbells. Either some of the select tech style or just more dumb bells. 12.5 is not much. As for a good program to get stronger check out body beast. It is a good lifting program.
  • Good luck and congrats on being a new mom. I have around 150 to lose myself. Feel free to add me.
  • P90, 21 Day Fix, and PIYO are all good. If you like to dance Cize is a great one to do.
  • How is your eating and water drinking? Don't take it wrong but are you fully doing the program or just going through the motions? I have done P90 sculpt A and it was a good workout. I used Power 90 (P90's precursor) and lost close to 30 lbs in the 3 months on it. You have to make sure your eating is right to lose the…
  • Try chewing gum or just drinking lots of water to get the appetite suppressed. Really it is not an increase in appetite it is a mental effect of certain movements. I quit smoking using vaping so my appetite did not increase because I still had the movements and simulation going on. I will say that if you can get your…
  • Nope good programs have a rest day. I missed saturday and sunday because time just got away. Jumped back in Monday and did great
  • Cize is a great dance cardio that is fun. I actually got my niece to try it and she liked it
  • I started my time doing just 20 minutes at 367 lbs. Now I am pulling hour workouts after only a month and a half. You will get better at it as your muscles, heart, and lungs get better. If you need a short 30 second to 1 minute break take it. Towel off and get a drink of water then jump back into it.
  • I would say make sure you are measuring/weighing everything right. Also, what and how much are you working out. The calorie defict is what get you to losing the weight but the workout can play a factor. It does for me anyways. You might need to open your diary so can take a look.
  • I am the same way. Love my breads. I just cut them down. Went to low carb whole wheat bread and only have a slice or two a day usually. The rest of my carbs come mainly from fruit and veggies with the occasional sweet treat thrown in.
  • If I have a craving that I can't get past I get what I want and subdue it. If you don't once you do get it you have a tendency to over indulge in it. If I am just craving sweets in general a spoonful of peanut butter will usually do the trick.
  • Hit up a big lots if one is near you. Can sometimes find some canned tuna and soups cheaper than walmart and places. Check ads for local grocery's like kroger or if they have it Ruler Foods. If you have any friends that hunt see if they have any extra meat to spare. It may seem odd but hunters are fairly giving.
  • Slimfast is not really that great. I have tried it off and on over the years. The best shake I have really had was Shakeology (yes I know most here will down the hell out of it). It is good and does make me feel better even though it is pricey and I preferred it to other things such as just protein shakes. I don't always…
  • As long as it doesn't cause you more knee issues yes. You don't have to go super deep to feel that burn in your legs. Also make sure you keep the knee over the ankle and your weight more in your heels. Will relieve some of the weight on your knees.
  • Leg day the bane of all our existences. Totally agree with you. I tried out a new leg day program a week ago and was completely unsatisfied with it. Ended up breaking out a cardio workout that night that really got the legs feeling what I wanted them to
  • P90X3 is a good one. A couple cardio but it is more a muscle building program
  • You are doing fine. 3-4 lbs a week is very doable for you. I am 355 and hoping to hit 320 by Oct 31 myself and under 300 by Christmas, but if I don't, I don't. I am working hard at it but I know the first few days of Oct I will be on vacation and wont eat perfect that week though I will be doing a lot of walking up and…
  • I'm not doing just P90X but you are welcome to add me. I am doing multiple workout programs as a training schedule for a marathon workout at the end of Oct
  • I have done it and was going to go back to it but ended up going a different route right now as I am training for a marathon workout. Most of the workouts are an hour. Yoga is a hour and a half and the ab workout adds on 15 minutes on the days you have it. There are calendars for it that tell you what day to do what so…
  • Ok. You can cut the Hydroxycut. It is good as a tool to get your eating under control but nothing more. Garcinia Cambogia you could also do without but is up to you. P90X2 is a good workout but if you are not pushing yourself you are not getting the effects of it. It is designed to exert yourself. If you are modifying that…
  • I know that they have more carbs but I would honestly eat some fruit like apples or melons. Since the sugars are a natural sugar it may actually help you out. Like I said I know it goes against the grain for the low carb but is how I would do it honestly
  • I am personally shooting for 3-4 lbs per wk. I would like to be down to 300 or less by Christmas.
  • Planks, crunches, wide leg crossing sit ups, low leg lifts, bicycles, Lots of stuff out there for core and abs.
  • Local to you honey is quite good for you. The benefits you listed actually are fairly true whether science wants to verify it or now. I subscribe to a lot of home remedies and honey and cinnamon are high in the list. One of my favorite remedies is the hot toddy even though mine is different than most as I don't use and…
  • Never used hydroxycut but used ACE two years ago just to get going. It helped curb my appetite and did help with energy. Once I got going good though I stopped using it as my appetite had gotten right. The energy was coming on its own as well. Was a good help to get on the right track but not necessary after that.
  • Nope you don't. I work out 6 days a week right in my home for 30 minutes to an hour a day. My eating is healthy and I eat good tasty food. Just eat in proper portions. Have lost 12 lbs in the past month and inches as well. Find a workout that is fun that makes you look forward to it to get started and go from there.
  • Are you using one or two scoops? I have used shakes for breakfast and lunch. If you are worried about the calories just use one scoop. Depending what are mixing with it will also add in. I was using almond milk and would put some kind of fruit in it just because. All depends on what your caloric needs are and if you are…
