The Rocky IV soundtrack. Gets me pumped every time.

I do the opposite, I run in the morning and strength train/lift weights in the evening. Sometimes i'll run after the lifting as well. Just listen to your body. If you stop losing weight or start feeling bad, you know you are over doing it. With that much exercise, just make sure you are eating enough calories though.

Hey Shane, welcome to the forums. I have a similar track record. Got up to 300lbs then down to 215 then back up to 260 now down to 199. My goal is about the same as yours' as well, 175. I used to think the same thing about myself, that I had a "big frame", but when I started losing weight I saw the fat drop off and my…

That is fantastic, great job. Just wondering, how tall are you?

Make a plan and follow it. Don't beat yourself up if you fall off the wagon, just get back on. Don't put too much faith in the scale. Log everything that goes in your mouth. I remind myself of these things daily.

I've used insanity in the past, but never made it all the way though. It is pretty deceptive to how hard it is. Not hard that you can't do it, just hard in that once you start you are amazed at what it puts you though. Some of the best workouts ive ever had though.

I just got in to this myself. Always looking for more friends and support. Sending you an invite.

Spinning is fantastic. I loved it so much I bought a spinner for home. The first time or two you will get saddle sore, but fret not, that goes away soon. Spinning is one of those sports that you get what you put in to it. Listen to the instructor and when they say push or go hard do it! As many have said you will get the…

It already calculates the deficit for you based on how much weight you told it you wanted to lose.

I've had that happen every time I have lost a noticeable about of weight. I know people are just trying to be nice and recognize my accomplishment. I usually just smile and reply with thank you. When I was at my highest (300 pounds) I had energy, normal blood pressure, and normal cholesterol. My doctor always said I had…

That is about what I am trying to shed as well. I'm currently 215 and want to get down to 175-180. I just got the ball rolling as well.
-
I'm about the same height 5'10" and have the game goal. I originally started about 300 lbs and am now down to 215. Getting started again is the hard part. Get into a rhythm and get that body moving.

Well Happy Birthday! and congrats on your success.
