Hundreds of pounds have been lost on this site! Check out and read the profiles of some of the "biggest losers." It's really encouraging. Keep at it, just keep logging those calories and reading the blog on the site and you can do it!

Probably just needed a break

I've lived in the Pacific; Micronesia...Pohnpei and Chuuk... so we'll see! Does sound interesting!

NO! No one every backslides ever! Honestly! What an idea!

My husband is a healthy muffin.... is that any help?

Believe it or not, upping your calories may help. It goes against everything we've heard or been taught usually, but if you're at 1200 calories, it just may not be enough.

Thanks. Haven't been on here for awhile and miss her.

Where's Ali?

:blushing: Just read this! Congrats Tam

Watch out for those free trials, especially if you have to give your credit card number to get the "free" trial. One free trial I tried (in very very small print) said you have to send back what you don't use if you don't want to automatically be sent some every month.

Me too. I hate making them (not sure why) hate eating them, unless they are caesar and filled with grilled shrimp.

Wine.... cabernet..... shiraz..... petit syrah..... sigh......

I do not EVER feel like exercising. I wish it would just happen in my sleep.

Thanks guys. Actually, I forgot to add, we came through great... no damage and we have water and a gas water heater, so we have hot water. The weather is great. As long as the weather holds we will do great without power. Friends were not so fortunate.

Finally have a generator, so I can access the internet for information!! Lots of hurting folks down here, many houses destroyed by falling trees, and of course you've seen the damage in the low lying coastal areas. We have one friend staying with us that had a tree come through her ceiling, and then the water....

   It's still summer down here in hurricaneville Houston!

Yes, but it's so much easier here than keeping a hand written diary and having to look up calories. But I admit, I am really discouraged and can't seem to get back on the wagon. After losing 21, I'm back up six. Ugh

Amen! Having fun with the kiddos. Walmart, awhile back, had inexpensive exercise DVD's including Salsa (that was fun.) I think they have a Hip Hop one the kids would enjoy doing with you, and does it burn the calories!!!

:brokenheart: Losing your son was hard enough.... If you need help, this website is wonderful: http://www.troubledwith.com/ I use it when I have trouble with my teens and have gotten valuable insight into how to talk to them.

If you stay with whole foods, just count those calories, and stop when you are at the top. The greens are going to be great, walnuts are especially good for you and full of nutrients (but you excluded those), feta cheese is a tad high in sodium, but you shouldn't have to worry about that; if the vinaigrette has olive oil…

Don't be nervous, nor be anxious. It will profit you nothing. This is a great site, especially for just starting to understand how many or how few calories you are taking in each day. Too many and you gain weight, too few and you stop losing weight. Read Mike's Blog at the top to get valuable information on the site…

I love my coffee so much that I just count it in. I have it with half n half, and sometimes a tiny pinch of brown sugar. It's worth it to me and keeps me from cheating with something else.
-
Yum! Thanks. I love those black beans.

My sister and I used to take our pillows to the slate roof (old house), climb to the top of the gable, and slide down the roof. Not a good idea.

If you're talking about the drink, I thought it tasted terrible; like koolade. But in desperation, I would use it. I am using a fizzy drink tablet, called slimshotdiet, that has all natural flavors, and a different composition for morning, noon and night. I find it helps me get all the water down me I'm supposed to drink,…

You still up?!

stop

lost

Oh my   I was thinking of doing the same thing for some quail. I want a couple of chickens but our homeowners association wouldn't go for it.... I was thinking of attaching small-holed chicken wire to the eaves of our garage and securing it to the ground with all the large cobbles there....

Thanks, Ali, Tami.... I've been so busy, but the pounds are not leaving, so you will be seeing me more often on here trying to get the inspiration from you guys to keep going. You guys are great! You too, Princess!
