  • Some days I only eat 600 to 900 calories. I just wonder how it can be physically possible to lose so many centimeters and nothing on the scale. How does that work? It seems to be a physical impossibility.

  • On Saturday I went for a 2 mile walk, then a 2 mile jog, then another 2 mile jog. The last jogI did, was completely uphill (very steep too). My usual jogging heart rate is around 150-160bpm, however at one point my heart rate shot up to 180bpm and I started to see yellow flares in front of my eyes - you reckon I over did…

  • Thanks! I was trying to get my head around that, with feeling like I was going mad. It's like I could physically see that I was getting smaller, yet every week the tape measure disagreed.
  • Geez women! You have nothing to be ashamed or nervous of! You look like a super model *gasp!* *envy*
  • Thanks for all the replies everyone. Most useful. I have been trying to drink herbal tea and water now, with a couple of cups of coffee or tea inbetween. As you have all said, you do get used to the taste now, and I find myself craving for water when I exercise, as well as in the late afternoons.
  • Thanks for the info. I will do the Google thing. I don't mind eating before workout (if it's quick), but I can't bear the 'stitch'! Thanks Mich. I am on all natural foods now as well, and it has really helped with EVERYTHING in my life. It's quite amazing what processed food does to the body. I am now starting to filter…
  • I can't really stop during my work outs, as they are all fast paced twenty minute cardio-type things (Jillian Michaels). I wonder if it would help to drink a protein shake before I start - how long after you eat do you wait before you exercise? Do you have to wait a certain amount of time for the food to start digesting…
  • Will definitely start going out early morning. Possibly work it into my current routine.
  • What a brilliant suggestion! It seems so simple, but I never actually thought of it - duh! lol. That's me all over - paralysis by analysis! I live right near the Medway River. I will drive down their at 6am and then run alongside with the other early morning sports people. THANKS EVERYONE! You have all been a great help…
  • Thanks guys. Some good running advice there. Loved the "crazy person running" comment! Perhaps I should try running in the early mornings. That is when I do most of my exercise. I have always been this hard on myself. I don't even like walking across a room by myself!
  • I freeze them whole, as they are. I then nuke them in the microwave, and pop them into batters for banana based baking.
  • I am on a 24 hour fast today! I just wanted to prove to myself that I am in control of my food, so I've done it for purely emotional reasons. The past few weeks I have felt completely out of control and have been comfort bingeing. Tonight I feel alive and like I can conquor anything!
  • You can use two water bottles instead of weights. I have weights, but this is what I've seen suggested before. Also, I don't do the 30DS everyday either, and it still works wonders. I love it! 25 minutes of your day and the results speak for themselves.
  • That's exactly what I was thinking. It generally has good reviews, but does seem to wear off after a couple of months. The other side of the argument is that you could lose quite a bit if you don't feel hungry for a few months - especially if you continue with calorie counting and exercise!
  • I know a women who allowed her father take a second mortgage on their house, to pay for her gastric band surgery, as she was so unhappy with her weight. Within in 4 months, she was a size 12. It is 2 years later - guess what size she is? 18+! Know what she says? "I prefer myself this way. I look at photos of how skinny I…
  • Oh my word! You are such an inspiration. You look amazing x
  • I used to like the lost, little, blue eyed pretty boys (slightly younger than me, preferably!). I was always falling the bird with the broken wing. Now I couldn't want anything more different! I do still love that lost, blue eyed boy thing, but if I could do it over now, it would be a guy that is older than me. He must be…
  • Well done both of you. My son (13) is over weight. He complains about his weight all the time. I try to get him to exercise with me but he never wants to. I think it's amazing that your little girl was so motivated!
  • I'll do it! Have had a problem with my tummy for years and would love to take part. I'm in colomn 1.
