Here are some of my favorites: Smashed Avocado on protein bread Scrambled Eggs with tomato (cheese optional)- you can use one full egg and more egg whites to keep calories low Green smoothies (spinach, water, banana, pineapple or some berries depending on your taste) Oats with milk and crushed cooked berries with some…

I used to use skimmed milk as well but would always feel super bloated and unwell. Now I use substitutes but use different ones for different purposes. For cereal and to drink I like soy milk but for tea I use coconut or almond milk (especially the one with honey and vanilla)! They just all have different qualities. Rice,…

I love using yummly.com because you can eliminate things you dont like as well as add specific infredients but I also follow a whole bunch of IG accounts of vegan foodies which have amazing tips, tricks and recipes.

So I am doing the "traditional" lent and will be vegan for the next 46 days. For this year, I will also eliminate refined sugar, add at least one green smoothie to every day.

Hi there, did you try and replace some of those calories with protein shakes or green smoothies? They are relatively light so that you don't feel like you are in a food coma but can add up to a couple of calories here and there while adding protein, vitamins and fiber to your diet. Also try nutbutters, they are high in…

I am not doing the detox in lieu of a fad diet but more to improve my skin and regulate my eating habits and cravings from sugar and fat (not the healthy type) to start a better nutrition and life style. The weight loss is merely a nice side effect. Moreover I am expecting for some of the weight to be gained back due to…

Grace, that is amazing! Thank you so much! I actually am 173cms I am actually kicking off the weight loss with a 10-day detox to get my body used to healthier food and also to contain cravings and snacking so I am expecting to loose around 10lbs in the first 10 days if I can believe the book :) Thank you all! I am so…

First of all thank you for all your comments and advice! So I am (as of this morning) starting at 83.6kg or 184lbs. As per my BMI calculation, a healthy range would be between 55- 75kg or 121- 165lbs which is quite a range! I am not too crazy about it being exactly 50lbs but I would like to get into the area just to see…

Overall I have about 40lbs to loose until June (church wedding) but for now I am trying to loose as much as possible. Starting with a 10 Day Green Smoothie Detox and a new workout regime :)

I am a Zumba Instructor and I have a lot of students that have a lot to loose. Check out some of the youtube videos first and see how you like it and then maybe try a class? Classes are always so much more fun than dvds at home! :)

The logging works but be careful with the time difference. I was in Germany a month ago and lost all my log-in's because of the time :( Other than that you should have no problem :)

I have a very active terrier mix who keeps me on my toes! I just recently got a running leash and love taking him out on a run. I get my workout in and he is exhausted and quiet for at least 20 min :)

well I guess considering you input all kinds of information into the HRM it's as close a possible to tell you how much calories you burn. Definitely better than gym machines or fitbits... That's at least my opinion and that was not the question in the first place. Thank you jadams1650 I have just recently changed them but…

yep! In 2011 I went from 205lbs to 165lbs in around 4 months. Between 2012 and 2013 I went from 194lbs to CW 169. GW is 137ish. You are right, you learn a lot from gaining weight back after losing. Its a feeling I never want to have again!

Thats awesome! I am on Day 4! :)
