Hi!!! I decided within the last few days to start training!!!! What works great for me is running with friends because I would never stop for a quick walk with them like I do when I'm on my own. It is really helping me to get to the next level!! Plus visiting sure does speed the time up!!

Hello All!! I ran up to 5 miles several years ago and stopped because I was having trouble with my ankle. Since then I have gone to physical therapy and my ankle is much stronger. I have been running for about 3 weeks now. Met some ladies who enjoy running and meet regularly. Now I am working to keep up with them. : )

I agree!!! I like the idea of bringing something everyone can share maybe like a green salad. Along with that you can bring whatever else you would like to have. I've done it before myself. Yes, yoga!!! You can go to doyogawithme.com and access free online yoga videos. Also, you can find some videos on grokker.com. Surprisingly, some of the Pilates type workouts are good as well in my opinion. : )

Definitely agree with this!!! I came to realize that I eat out of boredom as well. To get that under control I started making tea when I would end up in the kitchen instead of pulling out a snack. Works well for me and I buy tea often!!

I always find great deals at Savers. In our area you get additional discounts if you shop on Tuesday and Friday. Well worth the drive to the ritzy neighborhoods as the others have mentioned.

I would suggest swimming with a Masters swim group if possible. Many helpful swimmers who will be happy to help you after watching your individual form. I took a class once and was videotaped and coached on how to improve free style. Very helpful.
