I like to see the steps - it's motivating! I still don't see it syncing properly in MFP but I will check out the FitBit group. It syncs with its app but that neg calorie adjustment is throwing me off!

I'd love some info on getting it to grab the info and pull into MFP. I got one today and love it so far!

I think you will find many MFP friends to lend you some confidence and support on your journey. Baby steps!

Congrats on the weight loss! Have you tried putting up little affirmations to replace the negative thoughts? I love and accept myself unconditionally. I approve of myself and feel great about myself. I radiate love and respect and in return I get love and respect. I consciously release the past and live only in the…

Costco has that chicken salad with the craisins, pecans, etc. -- YUM! Now I'm hungry... let me go get some yummy carrot sticks and stare at my bathing suit!

Cake or Coke! Just was introduced to Krispy Kreme donuts this past weekend -- hot and freshly made. I just took one bite and said, "not even going to waste my calories I just burned." I was very proud, but that could be dangerous and it's a good thing I don't live close to that store!!

I find that lately I've been weighing in and then I'm up for no reason then it goes back down. I am upping your water intake and watching my sodium intake and see if that makes a difference. Stay strong -- it's one day at a time!!

I try not to be too hard on myself and understand why I've made an unhealthy food choice and then start again the NEXT meal with a healthier choice. Plus logging in consistently and seeing the stats on the foods you are eating is a BIG eye opener and might make you think twice before doing it again. Good luck!!

I do it every day in the morning. It's frustrating to see some mornings but Ia reminder that 'm the one accountable for that increase or decrease!
-
@CJisinShape -- that's great control around all the wonderful foods I'm sure were on display. I think having the tools like we have on MFP after a while you will understand how many calories are in the foods we eat. I remember loving the McDonalds sweet tea (a few times a week) until I found out how many calories and sugar…

Happy Monday everyone!! Hmmmm, maybe the scale needs to be "adjusted" sometimes it gets out of balance! I went to store and got all my veggies and fruits for the week. For all the stuff I ate this weekend I will take the extra pound I gained. I like the way I feel after exercising so that keeps me motivated.

Awesome recipe! Made it tonight and added a bit of leftover roasted red peppers!!! It's a keeper!
-
Well the birthday cake is gone! I couldn't let it go to waste (even though my waist will get it.) Tomorrow is another day to start again! I like the walking and setting alarm on the phone idea. I will try that this week!

Welcome to MFP! Count me in and add me as a friend! We are the same age (it was so easier to drop weight years ago!) Being accountable with peer pressure is a good thing!

@gokari30 - I didn't like the Greek yogurt at first and started mixing it in with regular yogurt. Now I like as a snack plain Greek yogurt with about a teaspoon of chocolate pudding. It sounds strange but it's a nice dessert without going overboard! I've been bad today and last night. Birthday cake in the house and my…

I have a can in my cabinet. Any yummy recipes you wish to share??

What about weights some days and alternate cardio other days? I agree that you do need rest days or you'll soon burn out or cause injuries. I try to stretch daily at minimum. Good luck!!

I ate well and went to Pilates class. I'm feeling it today but no gain... little pain!

I am new (again after a year+ break) to MFP. I am exciting to start this challenge. I am going to lose at least 25 pounds at the end of this challenge! Looking forward to motivating others to achieve their goals.

I'm excited to be back on MFP and this time I'm adding friends for accountability!! Happy to have like-minded fitness friends. I'm looking to drop weight and tone up for a friends wedding this summer and just to get back into working out for health.

Sabine, I'm in your boat too! It's a new year and time for a new start! For me if I have someone to hold me accountable, I will work harder. I'd like to lose 20lbs by May and know it's just a matter of diet and exercise. I've gotten the diet part pretty much down, just need to add in the exercise!! Looking forward to the…
