BUMP!

I'm going to go with NO on this one. I'm in the same boat.

Thanks Kara! I'll look into getting another chest strap.

I'm currently breastfeeding my youngest who will be 13 months tomorrow. My weight has definitely NOT come off easily. It's been a lot of hard work. Right now I'm sitting at around 124. I still have about 8-10 lbs to lose as well as a bunch of firming up. Right now, I'm mostly running 15-25 miles per week. I'm planning on…

I love her DVDs! I have 30DS, No More Trouble Zones, 6 Week 6 Pack, Killer Buns & Thighs, and some of her old pre-BL ones. I like them all. NMTZ is nice because it's broken down in segments, so you could just use it for legwork one day and core the next, etc. KB&T is killer, as is 6W6P. I'd like to get some of the other…

I had to transfer mine to my right hand until I get it sized. I have super skinny fingers as it is, so I didn't expect to get any smaller! Still a great feeling though. ????

Thanks for all the input and suggestions! I really appreciate it. :)

I'm 32 year old wife and mother to 3 boys (6, 4, and 7 months). Ever since I had my first son, I've always been within 10 lbs of my pregnancy starting weight. Over the years, my weight has slowly crept up until I got to be 20 lbs more than my pre pregnancy weight. I've never actually had to try to lose weight, so it was a…

I'm in! I've only ever made it to day 21. I WILL finish it this time! :)

Great job! I can totally relate to always being hungry while breastfeeding. I'm breastfeeding my third baby and this is the first time I've actually had to try hard to lose weight while doing so. I've finally found a balance and I'm not hungry constantly. I've lost 23 lbs already and working on about 10 more.

Wowza! What a transformation!

I've lost 22 and have about 12-17 lbs to go. SW 154 CW 132 GW 115-120

Thanks for the input, ladies! I think I'll be jumping ahead a bit. :)

Hope you ladies don't mind me joining in! I joined MFP in April and lost 11 lbs in 8 weeks. I found out I was pregnant last month and that same day my morning sickness kicked in and it hasn't let up yet. I'll be 12 weeks on Friday. I haven't reallly been counting calories or exercising because of the constant nausea. I'm…

Congrats! I'll be 12 weeks on Friday. I haven't been doing much calorie counting because I've had morning sickness for weeks now. I KNOW I'm not even consuming as many calories as I should be because of it. I've basically been eating what sounds good. Not all is unhealthy though. I've been struggling to exercise too. I'm…

I've had several. 1. I can finally dry my jeans in the dryer without fear that they will no longer fit! 2. My pants in the next smaller size now fit - and are comfortable! 3. My wedding ring is looser than usual. I have a feeling I will have to size it down soon. Good thing it's free!

You can. I took a walk with the family a couple of nights ago and just silenced it.

Yes. I do stretch the calories throughout the day. I don't load up on calories before working out, usually something small - definitely under 200 calories worth. I always thought I should be eating some (not all) carbs before a workout, but should I be eating protein instead? I always eat protein afterwards.
-
Thank you everyone! If I don't eat something before exercise, I also get dizzy. I'm thinking I need to just stick with what I'm doing. I just don't want to chow down on a bunch of calories right before bed!
-
I'm confused. What do you suggest if I'm aiming to do both!? I want to be lean w/good muscle tone.

I just recently bought a Polar FT4 off of Amazon for under $73 w/free shipping. That's the cheapest I've seen it anywhere! I'm hesitant of buying off of Ebay - especially something that costs a significant amount of money. Last night was my first time using it. I did 30DS and the calories I burned was spot on with what MFP…

You look amazing! Awesome job!

Yep. Just circuit training - general if you don't have a heart rate monitor. Just make sure that you only count the workout itself and not the warm-up or cool down. I believe L1 workout is 21 minutes. Good luck! I've seen some pretty amazing results from 30DS. I've never got past day 20, so I started back up again today.…

21 and 22 minutes is NOT including the warm up or cool down!
-
I believe the 30DS is around 21 minutes for L1 and 22 minutes for L2. I'm not sure of L3 - I haven't gotten there yet. Don't count the warm up or cool down.

I'm in!

Sounds yummy!

I make sure to exercise for at least 45 minutes per day so I can eat back those exercise calories (MFP recommends doing this). It's REALLY hard for me to only consume 1200 calories, so I depend on my exercise calories!
-
Yep - take the 2 lbs!! I have 2 digital scales. One only weighs to the nearest 1/2 lb and the other is to the 1/10 lb. The one that weighs to the nearest 1/2 lbs ALWAYS weighs me 1.5 - 2 lbs heavier than my other scale. Since I recorded my official starting weight with the one that weighs me less, I stick with that one!

So...I'm thinking yes. I forgot to add that it also qualifies for free shipping on Amazon. I checked with Target and they sell the same on in the store for $93.99! I think I need to jump on the Amazon one!
