I don't know about no more trouble zones but banish fat boost metabolism is also good. I would recommend starting with 30 day shred if you're not used to a lot of exercise. You will need a mat (if you have hard wood floors) and two hand weights (2-5 lbs). Good Luck!

Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred or Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. Both VERY challenging and not difficult to follow. :)

I think it will be hard, especially if you tend to go to bed late (like me!). If you can do it, I think it will work. Any habit that leads to less opportunities to consume calories increases the chances you will lose weight  That's the reason people often lose weight when implementing rules like that, not because…

I would load up on fiber. Bran cereal with fruit and splenda is actually not too bad and it will leave you really full after not very much of it AND it's pretty low calorie. I would just look for high fiber stuff in general. It's almost impossible not to feel full after having a high fiber meal (which will include carbs,…

I'm pretty sure sodium prevents weight loss by causing your body to retain water. I've also read you can bust through a plateau by reducing your sodium intake to under 2000 mg a day. So in short, yes, it can and probably does hinder weight loss.

Great Job! 5 lbs in two weeks is amazing! Keep up the good work.

Slim-a-bear and skinny cow make some yummy ice cream snacks that have chocolate. Also, sugar free or fat free hot chocolate is really low cal (sometimes as low as 25 cal/serving when made with water) and pretty yummy. If you have portion control, try a bag of dark chocolate M & M's. If you break them down into 20 M bags,…

If you're going the DVD route, I would definitely invest in Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It's pretty intense and I've been seeing some good results with it. If you want something longer than 30 minutes, supplement it with Bellydance with Jillina: Shape Up n' Hip Out. It's a fun contrast and seems to work your mid…

Okay, so this really is a serious question. Bear with me. I keep hearing that you should NEVER go below 1200 calories a day. Usually, I don't. On the average day I'm between 1300 -1600 cal/day. I also work out 1 hr/day and increase my calories accordingly. However, On the occasion I sleep in (until 11am or so) and don't…

Skippy Natural tastes even better than "normal" peanut butter, to me. I started using it long before I was even on a diet. :) Plus, you don't have to stir it like other natural peanut butters (which makes it hard for me to spread, etc)..
