I've just disconnected and reconnected. Working now.

Mine synced this morning but not for the last 4K steps which is annoying. Must be an issue.
-
Yes I have. I liked it actually but would chose the normal one over it just for flexibility.
-
Thanks for all the fab ideas. I sprinkled some on a salmon and noodle stir fry with some soy sauce today. Was really yummy.

What's the difference?
-
Yes they do. There was a time that they were excluded as they have a diuretic effect but not to the level of the liquid you are consuming so it's been revised.

Slow progress is better than no progress. Make sure you drink plenty. It will go!

I think it's very hard when you look in the mirror and know how much you want to lose. It's so easy to think it's too much of a mountain to climb. It'll take too long. It's just too much effort. How am I doing so far? I found it easier to break it down into smaller targets. For example losing a pound this week just to get…

I have been thinking about doing something similar. Do you add anything else to it other than water when you're marinating the chicken?
-
Try and opt for a little piece of dark chocolate or some fruit when the sugar cravings hit. If you deprive yourself completely chances are you'll fall off the wagon massively. I'm a great believer in "a little of what you fancy does you good" with emphasis on the little or at least in moderation.

I counted calories at the same time for a bit and was on 30 points. Mine always came out around 1300/1400 calories a day.
-
I lost my weight with Weightwatchers. I really enjoyed the plan. I've come back to calorie counting to maintain tho.
-
It's really up to you and how quickly you want to lose weight. I'm at goal now but I'm always rubbish at the weekend. Not so rubbish I can't lose weight but rubbish enough that my weight loss was pretty slow. Just keep in mind a cheat day will slow you down.

I would check the nutritional value. I use ground beef with a fat content of 5% I think some ground turkey (like beef) can have 15% fat so I would go on the label and make a decision from there. If it was just made with the breast meat it would be leaner (and tasteless probably) if it's made with the brown meat it'll be…

I would drop the cardio without increasing calories and monitor that for a week and then slowly increase the calories.
-
Have you got negative calorie adjustments enabled on MFP?
-
I think you should switch to Weightwatchers. Brown sandwich thins are free on no count
-
Every day. I'm maintaining now and it helps keep me focused
-
Yes. I lost weight doing Weightwatchers where you don't have to count fruit but I still knew I had to limit it otherwise my weight loss would slow right down. Fruit does actually contain a fair amount of calories - not withstanding it's obvious health benefits
-
In theory yes but in reality a certain amount will even out over the week. Just draw a line under it. It happens to everyone - well me anyway
-
Absolutely. A litre of water weighs about a kg! I weigh myself first thing every morning. It keeps me focused.
-
Could it be your calorie requirements have gone down as you've lost weight. Mind you, Fitbit and MFP should make that allowance for you so perhaps not!
-
Thanks. My Fitbit app and MFP actually ended up about 10 calories apart in the end yesterday so pretty close.
-
Do you have a day that you forgot to wear your Fitbit? If you go back to that day on your dashboard it will have your days calories without any extra movement added. Mine is 1138 which is also very close to that calculated by a bodytrax machine at my gym which is reassuring if disappointingly low
-
mines the other way around. MFP is giving me more. Think I'll try and stay 100-200 under MFP and see how that goes.
-
Thanks. The fact that there might be a minus adjustment makes sense and sounds like things will even out. I have 230 left for day on MFP so will see how that changes overnight.
-
Thank you. That does make sense. There's 120 calories left for the day between the 2 at the moment but perhaps it'll even put over what's left of the day.
-
Thank you, so really shouldn't make that much difference then in the end? That's good to know. I've opted for lightly active for now and see how that goes.
-
I'm actually trying to maintain now. Having felt like I'm losing control a little I've decided to track everything to stay on top of things. Really just trying to get my settings as accurate as poss to get me started in the right direction.
-
I have a feeling that may be the case. MFP is currently saying I have 400 cals left for the day even tho I've accounted for everything I have and will eat. I think that's too much.
