Yes they do. There was a time that they were excluded as they have a diuretic effect but not to the level of the liquid you are consuming so it's been revised.1

Plain? I log them, my morning coffee has 49 calories (milk, half teaspoon of sugar).1

It's just flavored water. If you add anything with calories - milk, sugar, cream, etc. - log that stuff.0

Do you really feel the need to track your fluid intake at all?
My thirst reflex works perfectly fine.0
