  • Not in that area but this is so cool and such a good idea . Try Meetup.com too!!
  • Ground beef rice bowls , not really Korean. Add veggies https://therecipecritic.com/korean-ground-beef-rice-bowls/ Instant pot salsa chicken (sure you could bake this as well )
  • Acute pancreatitis perhaps ? :(
  • Personal preference for your personal calorie goal. I usually use low fat but I'm trying to bulk so just recently switched to high fat. Sometimes I use lowfat so I can have more . My fridge has skim (80cal) and whole (160 cal) milk. On days I want two lattes I drink two skim ones. On days I want one fatty delicious one I…
  • Part half and half , part skim . Those mootopia or fairlife milks have great protein content in the milk - so I use those . Also like the suggestion of bottled protein shakes as your creamer
  • I also hated it :s
  • I go to a small 24 hour gym and try to workout at non peak times :)
  • Activation exercises help immensely. I have a bad big toe and it somehow caused my biomechanics to shift and bear most the work for my left leg into my quad. That leg is an inch bigger around the thigh . It lead to an extremely tight left hip flexor which lead to a bad pelvic tilt. I was literally incapable of doing or…
  • I use Anytime fitness . My two main demands in a gym are small/not crowded and 24 hr access. I need a good mix of free weights and machines , but , even though I own my own , I love that mine also has yoga mats and foam rollers for stretching. The vibe of a small gym is relaxing to me and let's me work out much more…
  • The macros on their frozen small pizzas are actually good . 350 Cal pop to scratch your pizza itch. I like their already cooked chicken strips , only place I'll buy them . Their yogurts . My ultimate favorite staple is the whole wheat fiber bread. Multigrain fiber bread. Boxed lentil soup. Gyoza.
  • I made Amy and Jacky's chili recipe last night ,super good. I do oats or shredded chicken . Bone broth and other soups .
  • This is tiny pet peeves but we have limited cubby space at my gym for belongings and a key rack right next to it. None are lockers. On busy days sometimes multiple people will take up an entire large cubby with literally a single key lol or a single water bottle, then others with actual stuff (purses , shoes , bags) have…
  • I do it as 500 servings like you mentioned then just enter in g for each time I eat
  • Everyone's weight fluctuates day to day and can be affected by things like your cycle etc. How long have you been on your diet , how many calories are you eating total, are you using a food scale ?
  • My husband is one of those "forget to eat" types . He gets very engrossed in his work . To him his relationship with food is different, he sees it strictly as fuel and nothing more. He has told me multiple times he wishes humans could recharge without eating because it's such a hassle lol (he's one of those computer…
  • I have RA and before diagnosed accidentally did permanent joint damage to my wrist and left big toe (thought it was just normal pain but kept working out and my body being in a constant state of inflammation attacked my own joints). Because of this I can't do a lot of things (lunges, high impact , push up or plank…
  • https://pinchofyum.com/instant-pot-minestrone-sou Got this in there now. I'm sure if you'd like to save some calories you could use tomatoes vs Jarred sauce and skip the cheese . Will update how it is !
  • Sylvahiker -- like someone else mentioned the best rolling I get is about 3-5 min of light walking for warm up , then I personally prefer to start top down . About a min on each glute, a min on back of hamstrings , side of hamstrings , then calves . I don't know if this is the best way but works best for me because I find…
  • I had Achilles pain for awhile and found it was actually because I was tight all the way up to the glute on that side. Foam rolling the glutes and legs all the way down for about 10 min helped immensely
  • 5'4" between 113-118 either 2-4 depends on brand
  • God I love breakfast. A few of my favorites : - pb toast - Eggs (scrambled , boiled, fried, steamed ) + bacon - Greek yogurt with protien, berries , granola - Kodiak cake pancakes with SF syrup - Kodiak cake waffles - breakfast burrito in hi protein wrap - pork dumplings (Chinese , usually steamed/boiled)
  • I like a spoonful of jam/jelly or berries and honey in mine !
  • Tall skinny caramel macchiato - 100 cals (if I want sweet ) or blonde grande Americano with half and half if not sweet
  • God those are gross, agreed. I'd take a t-shirt over one of those cut off tanks any day too lol
  • I have RA and also was addicted to sugar. It's usually not actual hunger , it's hunger for sugars. You feel hungry you feel like you can't NOT snack. break that habit , it takes about a week of really low sugar for me. I had headaches, sad I know , but it made it much easier after that hump. Your body inflammation will go…
  • Something not incredibly form fitting. No tight shorts please lol, there to work not show off your ... Also this guy at my gym used to wear one of those face masks for altitude training , major props to him for working out HARD but the scary Darth Vader breathing was unnerving lol. Not my business though .
  • I just swapped to neutral shoes this week for the exact same issue . I got Brooks ghost 10 and honestly had immediate improvement as well as no more knee pain
  • I absolutely love them . I beef mine up with more protein powder, Greek yogurt , and fresh canned pumpkin - so good
  • Rest it or do upper body stuff. I had a sprained wrist I rushed to do stuff with and turns out it went from sprain to bruised bones/hairline fracture and now I need complete immobilization for two months because I kept trying to use it when it wasn't fully healed. Extreme example but rest when you need to !
  • Do your shoes have adequate cushion ?
