Yes, people knew what gluten was 5 years ago. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease 12 years ago after having symptoms my whole life. I was diagnosed at the age of 20, and I wish I had been diagnosed much sooner. It would have made my life so much easier. Basically for me, if I eat gluten it causes malnutrition because it…

Make sure you have good shoes. Go to a running store (not sports store....one specifically for running) because they will fit you properly. The good ones will let you bring back shoes that end up not working for another pair. This may alleviate some of it. I had pains, and ignored them. I ended up with stress fractures…

If you wait a few weeks I can do it with you. I am doing a half marathon Saturday, so I will need a bit to recover.

there are numerous apps in the app market for c25k. I just used my phone. I think I used runkeepr? It gave me an option of doing distance or timed c25k.

I haven't bought any yet, but my mom uses it all the time. She keeps some at home, and in her desk at work. She has also been known to carry it in her purse to a restaurant.

I put an essential oil in my water. It's helped both myself, numerous friends, and my mother. You can pm me if you want more info. It's a natural way to help.

There is a group on here for women with PCOS. I can relate as well. I usually will lose weight, and then gain 4 lbs back. it's constantly like that for me. The thing I try to focus on is that I am making progress in the long run. I am feeling a lot better than I was. One thing my doctor (he's an integrative doctor) had me…

For me the only thing that has worked is putting Doterra's Slim and Sassy essential oil in my water. I am addicted to Coca Cola, and gummy candies. I don't crave them when I have started my day with the oil.

I use nike+ to keep track of my running, and fitbit as my pedometer.

I would consider it exercise. It has a lot of bending, and moving. I log pretty much everything I do for my own record, but I don't eat those calories. I just want to have as many things as possible to view improvement in my overall health.

It took me a while for my muscles to stop being sore. When my calves hurt I have noticed a significant help when using compression sleeves/socks. Heat/cold compresses are good. I also use an essential oil from Doterra called Deep Blue. It's like Icy hot, but without all the extra chemicals. It last a minimum of 4 hours for…

soy is very hard for the body to digest.

To prove to others that I could.

I live in a city with awesome bike trails. I stick to the populated trails that are filled with people training for a race of some sort. I only go when there is enough light to see everything around me. As for the holster shorts.....all I can say is CHAFFING!

I can totally relate! I wrote this (http://www.derekandmelody.blogspot.com/2013/02/sometimes-i-miss-person-i-was.html) when I was feeling particularly guilty. My husband encourages me to exercise because I am nicer to him when I do. It's important to take care of you too.

I started at a size 24, and now I am down to 20. I lost 13, but right now it only says 11 because of water retention. I saw the most difference once I started running.

carbs have nothing to do with gluten free anything.

PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Way to combat it is to have a low carb diet (eat like a diabetic would to control blood sugar) and take a bunch of cinnamon pills.

I noticed a difference when I did a reverse crunch. (I think that's what it's called) I learned of it from Jillian Michaels 30 day shred.

I have had pretty bad asthma for most of my life. I also have a lot of allergies. I live in Ohio where my allergies tend to be really awful. I have found that in addition to medications doing a sinus rinse twice a day helps a lot. I have also found that sometimes it helps to exercise through my issues because it…

I just have to say that this is truly inspirational. As someone having PCOS I know personally how difficult it is to even lose a pound. Great Job!!!!!
-
Don't do it! It caused me to gain 30 lbs. Not to mention it made me so angry!
-
I have 100 lbs to lose as well. Feel free to add me!

I love steaming them. I add salt, butter, pepper, and parsley. Any veggie baked is great though! Kohlrabi is my favorite veggie to roast/bake.

Caramel Apple pie, but it's a family recipe that I am not allowed to share.

Quinoa is my go to food! I make a big batch to keep in the fridge. I usually cook up 3-4 cups of quinoa. I will add onions (while still warm). Then whatever veggies I want as well. I usually add cucumber, green peppers, tomato, a few different kinds of canned beans. Maybe some chicken breast. Every time I make it it is…

I adjusted my caloric goal to what my nutritionist set, but I know that is debatable. That was set with a much higher activity level than what I am currently at (was training for a half marathon, but I broke my foot). The days I don't exercise much I eat less, but if I work out a lot I am closer to 1700 calories.

I wear my fitbit day and night. I love it. It does alter your calories on mfp if it's linked. So you probably don't want to link it to mfp, and log exercise in mfp because it would add too much.

I usually put them in when the water is almost boiling. Then I leave them in for about 13 minutes. You can also bake them in muffin pans for the same result (I haven't tried this yet).

Have you tried any of the shakes by Andrew Lessman? I really like his pina colada shake. It's good with water, or for more yummyness you can add pineapple juice. www.procapslabs.com
