Well if the poster is very very over weight then that is possible. a lot of water weight loss can be the contribution factor as well. I did IF for one month and ate at around 700 calorie deficit and lost 13 pounds. I am pretty sure most of it was water weight because my body love to hold on water .

Well I check total coloured burnt (active plus resting calories) and then subtract calories accordingly. I.e if I want to lose 1 pound per week, I subtract 500 and eat that many calories that day. As my goals are set and everything and my total calories burnt is almost same everyday , I know how many calories to eat

I an not syncing apple watch anymore. As some people have mentioned here, I take an average of my rest calories and move calories. Add them both gives me TDEE. Congrats on your quit. I am 5 months smoke free and that is the best decision of my life. It gets much easier with time. I was paying 15 dollars per pack of 25 ciggs (in canada) which is crazy.

Maybe you had a faulty one. I have one for last 4 years and it is pretty accurate. And it does not register just the movement of arm as a step.

1/2 cup oats cooked in Almond milk. Topped with berries and 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds. I also add protein powder (dymatize iso 100 - fudge brownie flavor). Total calories 385 with 34 grams protein

Go get it. I love mine. Yes it won't taste like fried food, yes a conventional oven can do the same but convenience and time is what makes it worth having.
