"Harriett H. Butchko Medical and Scientific Affairs, The NutraSweet Company, Mt. Prospect, Illinois" LOL, but, really, there are tons of studies on aspartame out there that state it is safe, how did you manage to find a 15 years old one, published in a journal with an impact factor of 1.68, whose lead author is an employee…

Not exactly a "land sport", but I would suggest to try kayaking/canoeing

and perhaps even weirder that the most extreme vegan diet, fruitarianism, is definitely paleo

It is, in fact, a name, from the latin adjective candidus (white). Has anybody on here read Candide, ou l'Optimisme, by Voltaire?

should we trust blogosphere or actual peer reviewed scientific papers? http://www.nutritionjrnl.com/article/S0899-9007(15)00077-5/fulltext

Well, yeah, PubMed lists 80 studies that use the expression "empty calories" or "empty calorie" in their abstract. Google Scholar (where you can perform a full text search) lists 8920 results. So, yes, I think we can conclude that it is an expression commonly used in the nutrition field.

Ah no, you are not  if I forget to drink after a long run, I become ravenously hungry (and sometimes I forget because I rarely am thirsty).

2 grilled, fresh, whole calamari (squids), served with EVOO and half lemon to squeeze, side salad, red wine

certainly (my restaurant lunch, today): Of course it is also a matter of accessibility, but I think that those who (choose to) eat unhealthy at restaurants also eat unhealthy at home.

definitely (also his wife lived very long), and the discovery of the health benefits of the Mediterranean Diet is perhaps his biggest merit. But this doesn't imply that the diet-heart hypothesis is also true

Let's say it is a 'pattern'. You can measure your adherence though:

Ludwig's diet is not ketogenic.

Oh, I see, so we burn triglycerides, and store as adipose tissue ... What ? Fatty acids? You learn so many things here on mfp...

A quick Google search shows that the source (not surprisingly) is a tweet of Evelyn "carbsane" and she says the photo is from January 2016. Jimmy Moore's troubles are well known though. Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about the next level. Considering the number of her followers, they surely aren't going to attempt to…

I literally buy all the spices I can find, and I never end to make experiments. Sweet pepper is a staple for me though.

You don't need to change what you already eat, just use spices instead of salt to add flavor.

Fact is that "Paleo" is not a specific diet, but rather a movement which includes many authors, and there is not an unanimous consensus on what to avoid. So for instance if you read Cordain you will find out that indeed his diet aims to be low in sodium and excludes all starchy vegetables, including sweet potatoes. In my…

I really don't know why you are referring to personal preferences as "fetish". When speaking about sexual attraction, fetishism refers to being obsessed with objects or parts of the body that are not genitals.

I'm sure you mean well, but you aren't a runner, aren't you? OP's pace is not the pace of an advanced runner, but no, you don't become an advanced runner just trying to run faster. That's a recipe to get injured. You need instead a structured program that involves building an aerobic base first.
