I am 54 and have lost weight with this site and also 5:2 diet. Sadly I never stick to it and after about half a stone stop the diet. My plan is make plenty of friends on here to call me to account lol. Now looking at Fitbit, see what that is.

Loneliness, boredom, heartbreak, depression all seem to be situations where we may comfort ourselves with food (I know I have), its probably better than booze or drugs. I hardly dare say that i run in £15.00 running, which replaced a pair of tennis shoes. My big problem is thigh muscles feeling stiff the next day, but i wouldnt expect it to be the shoes as both pairs have yielded the same result (although the running shoes feel a little nicer). Cheers Adi
