It's probably worth noting that every time I hitch my leg up in any way, my hip snaps/pops, and I've noticed that my hips are uneven, once, when I was looking in the mirror I saw that my hip bones that jut out in the front don't line up. So you may be right about it being something to do with hips. I've also been a clumsy…

I didn't mean vertical, I just meant straight. And yeah they are body weight squats. And I'll try starting from the bottom.

Snarky comments about why am I comparing myself, when this is a website about self improvement and I just recently learned that something was unobtainable, that I always thought had been. Someone called me whiny, and another person made a stupid comment accusing me of showing off my *kitten* when it's not even me. Just…

Also, to the people being rude to each other... not cool.

I really have nothing to say anymore. From the people who are being genuine jerks to me, to the immature posts, this thread answered no questions and it's just dumb now. I thought about starting up on MFP again but I have no interest after this.

Yes I do those all the time. The problem is, I believe, that there is no actual side-butt muscle. Hence why most female athletes have a more masculine butt shape, longer and dented in at the sides. A typical round female butt with no definition has a lot more shape on the sides because of the fat. I don't think it's…

I'm just very thin on top with an abnormally big lower body compared to my top, hence why it doesn't look that way in the pictures. But if theres nothing I can do about the roundness of my butt, then oh well I guess.

As much as I can appreciate her achievements, it doesn't really provide any hope for me, as a butt like hers would not look good on a girl like me. My thighs are far too muscular already and I would look overweight in anything but shorts. Her muscles also seem to sit rather high. She even mentioned that somewhere, and mine…

I guess. I just always had my heart set on having a butt like the first one. :'(

Awesome, this is super helpful. Thank you. :)

Thanks everyone.

Thanks for the tips

I'm not exactly swimming in money right now so I try and eat as healthy a I can with what I've got. And I don't consider it me trying to lose weight anymore, it's not a diet it's a lifestyle. Asking myself to never eat anything sweet is just grounds for going on a horrible cheat streak after a while. I mean, don't get me…

Ahh, I ended up changing a few substitutes on a 90 calorie oatmeal raisin cookie and changed it into a 50-60 calorie cookie, but thanks! :D

8 pounds! I honestly think I'd be so much closer to my weight goal if I hadn't started weight training at the gym. I see a huge difference in my muscle sizes, but my weight is staying steady now because I'm losing fat but gaining muscle. Ho hum. It's all about the big picture right? I'd still like to be 110 pounds…

Listen, you're definitely going to have days where you'll feel like quitting. And these days are going to come when you're either stressed or sad or hungry when you've already eaten too much, etc, but at the first sign of progress you'll see how it's all worth it. And with every little mile marker, (Not just weight loss)…

Well, it's strange. I started dating someone back in may and because he was so physically fit, it made me want to get in better shape and I ate healthier and did moderate home exercise. And then we broke up last month, and guess what? I joined a gym almost immediately and now I'm spending a good 2-3 hours at the gym every…

If I had a dollar for every time someone rolled their eyes at me when I say anything about calories..Sheesh, people act like it's the worst thing in the world to keep track of what you put in your body. I usually just remind people that keeping track of what I'm eating is what made me lose most of my weight in the first…

600-1000. It's not like I'm eating nothing, but the stuff I eat is pretty healthy and I eat a good amount of it, so I'm never hungry.

Ahh! So much respect. :flowerforyou: Morrrowind.

Yes, precisely. The fat is just holding on despite me losing weight elsewhere. And I know any muscles won't show up until I lose more of the fat, so I'm just kind of stuck in a depressed state of mind with this every time I look at my butt in the mirror. I just gotta keep eating right and exercising I guess until I lose…

Just so you guys know, I'm not fishing for compliments. In what world is having a flabby butt a good thing? I'm not trying to whine about it to get people to tell me it's a good thing, it's a legitimate concern for me. :(
-
I know. I even said I knew it wasn't possible in my OP.

Haha, I don't think my butt could ever look like Jen Selters. I have wide set hips. I just don't want any more fat or cellulite on it. I'm not aiming for butt of the year or anything.

I've been a gamer since I was 5 years old, and since the time I was about 12 I've been slowly putting on weight. Sitting around and eating all day has it's downsides... I love my video games, but I can have the best of both worlds--A good figure and my games. :) I mean, I was never really really overweight, I just had a…
