I was thinking of this exact video when I scrolled down. It came up yesterday from the "Greatist" website that I follow! Awesome *Smiles*

Oh and I rarely eat back "all" exercise calories.
-
I looked at the OP's exercise diary and saw Mfp gave 622 for race walking. I walk at 4 mph (or a bit more) and get 338/hr. Is race walking much higher that that? When I get close to 4.5 or more, I'm jogging.

i gave my hubby the strawberry and i'm having the peach

makes sense

could be, but won't ask walmart (lol) can barely get the attention of someone to show me where anything is. I could imagine trying to get someone to explain calorie differences  But other additives to make the strawberry taste better does make sense, kinda.

makes sense

Gtk  It's such a small amount of calories, but I am always curious to ask in case someone knows. Like my question about microwave popcorn yesterday  Thanks all!

You may want other advice, but I don't think you will get it here. Good luck on your fitness journey, but I'd suggest do it safe. The amount you are saying you want to lose in 2 months is unrealistic. Peace.

I do have another brand, but thought I'd test it out. I got this box on the clearance isle at Walmart. It was worth a try. No harm done, just working out a bit extra hard so I can have a good dinner and desert
-
I went ahead and already had done that and logged it in my food diary as 400 calories. I tried this as an experiment, enjoyed the relatively small amount popped, but none the less, seems like a lot of calories for such a small amount ha ha. Fortunately I have plenty of calories left for a good dinner

Just looked at your diary and the first thing that caught my attention is the entry for bacon (4 slices @ 70 calories) Even the turkey (lean) bacon I use is 30 calories a slice (120 for 4 slices) and in the database for MFP is 42 calories for 1 slice (4 being 168 calories) for pork bacon. Do you use a kitchen digital scale…

I went ahead and changed my log for the whole bag as stated on the box for "about 2.5 servings" as 400 calories, but it's still bewildering to me :confounded:
-
I popped the bag, emptied it into a bowl on my scale (zero'd out) then popped the remaining kernels in the bag till every kernel was popped and added that to the bowl on the scale. It came to 2.3 ounces (68 grams) for every kernel popped. Measured in actual cups to see if it was 9 cups popped in measure cups as well, but…

I count everything, but salt

Lifting weights, step aerobics, walking real fast a whole lot and eating at a deficit works great for me
-
Thanks all for the imput and tips  Keeping it fun and consistant is whats working for me. I understand nothing is truly accurate except results. 15 days is a good test to see how i like it. If anything its better than the arcaic <<<spelling? one I have now.

I just hiked back from walmart (45 minutes 4 mph with 40 lb backpack and 20 lb of stuff in hand  Just had to say it  ) got this scale http://www.walmart.com/ip/Health-o-meter-Stainless-Steel-Body-Fat-Bath-Scale-with-Daily-Caloric-Intake-Technology-BFM144/21984590 I get to try it out for 15 days and if i'm not…

Hey thanks loads! I feel free again. That was buggin' me
-
I looked at my dashboard and could not find where to do it, but I figure by tomorrow there will be no calories to adjust, because I wont be using the device. Just inconvenienced for the night. Thank you

This was a good article and keeps me patient  http://greatist.com/health/understanding-scale-bloat-and-weight-loss

I've been running errons (spelling??) and earned 98 calories extra so far  I have not done any intential workouts yet today. I'm taking it easy. I walked a lot yesterday and did not sleep much, learning about my new toy  Thank you again for your help

I just linked garmin with Mfp. The top left corner of the below screenshot is garmin dashboard with what it says on my device, the top right corner is the Mfp linked, and the bottom is Mfp. Will it only show earned calories after a certain amount burned? Anyhow, still learning to use this. Seems quite cool once I…

So it's normal to wake up to 500 calories burned and 247 steps made? It's probably odd to me right now, because I am doing the NEAT method on Mfp. But, it's startng to make sense. I think
-
no, not yet. is that for stride? I will check this when i wake. going into sleep mode now. thank you very much

I just got it yesterday. Set it up a few hours ago. I'm still reading stuff about it now. I put in weight, height, gender, birthdate. I understand that we all burn a certain amount of cals (bmr), but I am reluctant to sync with mfp, because it's showing every calorie burned. I've been up and about tonight (or this morning…

I was just curious. I like making my own food, but thought I'd check out the selections. The default meals are for "small", but when I selected "regular" the calorie count did not change. So, how do you get the count for a "regular" sized meal? http://www.myfitfoods.com/OrderOnline/OrderItems.aspx
