Like ACG67 says, if I want something, I fit it into my macro's. That being said, I have a SICK addiction to organic bulk granola. Mostly hemp flaxseed or ginger zing. I can eat this by the pound.

What he said, UNLESS your pairing your supplement intake w/your macro intake. For example carb cycling. Upon your refeed (especially if you plan on training extremely hard the next day or so) it has been advised that you "load" approx. 20g over the next day w/meals. This will make you much stronger in the gym (as opposed…

Yay DBZ. I enjoy going super saiyan during workouts especially during legs. There is much yelling involved. Also, there is a push up that is harder, but I will neither speak of, or demonstrate it here as it applies exclusively to males. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm soooo mature.

I do cardio approx 4 x's a week and always separate it from my weight training by a minimum 4-6 hours.

While, supplementation can be helpful, there is no magic bullet substitute for hard work. I have experienced this issue in the past. Having tried supplementations of many sorts this is what worked for me. Increase the amount of cardio you do. If that means adding 10 min to each cardio session per week or an extra cardio…

My long term goal is to maximize my genetic muscular potential at a 8-10% body fat. According to current studies and statistics this falls somewhere between a bodyweight of 215-230lbs. Pending injury or death (I certainly hope neither of those occur), I expect this to be a lifetime pursuit.

Let's turn it into a contest! haha..but I agree. Don't beat yourself up. I've done 2400cals in one sitting w/less than 270cals from fat. It was epic.

Ugh...this thread should be deleted. Haha...I almost feel bad taking time to write a post. I have nothing against people who do or dot eat breakfast. I also will not discuss/argue this topic. I don't eat breakfast, I DON'T eat a traditional postworkout meal, I train hard, I''ve made lots of progress. CLEARLY. I plan to…

I don't own any yoga pants...maybe I should? haha. I love to wear my plaid baggy pajama pants in public. Especially in locations where they look very out of place. Department stores, SOME offices, however, I cannot get away w/it in my place of work.

1.PROPER NUTRITION 2. Proper Recovery (as a general rule of thumb allow 48-72hrs of rest between muscle groups for FULL recovery. It is ok to work muscle groups if they're still sore after 48hrs). It is also imperative you sleep, for me 6-9 hours per night seems to work well. a). I found that for me, stretching between…

Ugh...can we start citing studies? I've been watching the forums (not just this one). Too many claims are being made...based on..? Are most of us PhD bearing nutritionists/exercise physiologists? I think not. If your goal is to lose weight and be healthy, my advice would be to stick to the basics (exercise, calories…
