  • This is a great video. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it.
  • Alrighty! So hopefully next Monday i'll be able to help out. :)
  • Hi, i'm Melanie, I am 33 years old and currently weighing in at 324.5, down from 335. I have been a member of MFP for years but i'm really just coming back after 3 years of slacking and being in a bad relationship where we just enabled eachother to sit around, do nothing and eat junk. The last time I used MFP to lose…
  • What do we do if you gain weight back though? For instance, I lost 6.5 pounds as of my April 2nd weigh-in but gained 4 of it back the next week. I have not added anything to this thread yet as I just joined the group. Someone may have already asked this question and if so, i'm sorry.
  • I used to have a problem with drinking enough water so I started flavouring it with Crystal Light. I never used the full "single" pack because that is just too sweet. Another thing I did is always had a water bottle with me at my desk at work and would tell myself after each task i'd take a huge gulp. So after writing a…

  • 30DS is evillll! I am a big girl (300+) and while I survived it, it sure did kick my butt. Just remember to get a good stretch in before you do it, my ex did it with me and didn't stretch and ended up pulling a muscle in his leg. Not good.
  • 30 Day Shred almost killed my boyfriend and I. The first time I did it I hurt for two days, then we did it together and he pulled a muscle in his leg. Jillian is a sadist!
  • 30 Day Shred almost killed my boyfriend and I. I hurt for 2 days after I do it. Although I just bought a Polar F6 so i'm thinking I might give it another shot to see what happens.
  • I would pick Bob, he does the job but he's not a jerk about it. Plus he's adorable, too bad he's probably gay. :grumble:
  • Never in a billion years! Their chicken n dumplings are amazing.
  • Looks like I am going to have to ask cupid for one. ;)
  • This is why I need to buy myself a treadmill! I really would like to try running for 30 seconds or a minute like I saw on the biggest loser but there's no way I am going to do it at the gym!
  • I wouldn't sweat it too much. The morning sickness will pass. Just eat healthy, 5 small meals a day because you're going to need them if you keep bringing them up! :)
  • Great tips! Getting dressing on the side is always a great idea that way you can lightly dip each bite in the dressing rather than drown the entire salad.
  • Oh, yeah... stopping mid-workout would be annoying. Guess I am going to have to just deal with it.
  • Good point! If i'm going to put out that kind of money it better work.
  • I guess if I am wearing a sports bra it wouldn't bother me as much. Crap! That's another thing I have to buy, a decent bra. Ugh! It's spendy to get in shape!
  • I don't know if I like the idea of a chest strap. Does anyone know of a decent HRM that doesn't have a chest strap?
  • Oh yeah, EASY. It is da debil!

  • I am *ALWAYS* over in sodium. I hate it! I hate that cottage cheese has over 500mg per 1/2 cup and whole wheat tortillas have over 400mg.

  • The full length mirror is my motivation.
  • That sounds really good!

  • Oooo! That sounds SO GOOD! I need to get some lettuce and try wraps. I am getting sick and tired or the high sodium in normal wraps.
  • Huge salad with chicken breast or tuna. Deli meats in general are horrible and full of sodium so I stay away from the sandwich thing when I can.
  • I didn't like a lot of fruits and veggies but I decided that if I was really going to get healthy and make some changes I needed to open my mind and try them again, maybe prepared in different ways. I am now eating blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, green peppers and even.... MUSHROOMS! I never thought it was…
  • I don't go every day, I never have. I've always went every few days, sometimes once a week. Although lately I have been eating a lot of blueberries and wow, they flush out the system!
  • Exactly! I have been drinking water like a mad woman, I can't just drink 8 glasses a day, i'd be dehydrated. I drink between 2-3L a day if not more. Today I drank 3.5 litres and I could have drank more. There were periods I was really thirsty.
  • When I enter stuff in and realize I went over my calories I just do a little more for my workout.

  • No one can answer that but you. If you can't find the motivation and will power to stick to it then it doesn't matter what anyone else says. It's something that has to come from within.
  • I don't know what to recommend, i'm new to this but I just wanted to thank you for starting this post, i'm looking forward to seeing what people say.
