  • I have PCOS too! Would love to be friends and support each other! In response to your question, it is 2 ounces uncooked or 1 cup cooked! I LOVE the RONZONI brand....but, like you, I dont eat it unless necessary!
  • I take Glucaphage....500 mg twice daily. I was not able too, although I was able to get pregnant when I was 19 - my wedding night! LOL I tried again when I was 27 and just found it was too hard. I'm 40 now....but YES, IT IS INSANE to try to lose the weight. I actually lost 50 pounds about 7 years ago....then I had back…
  • I've been having the same issue - elliptical says one thing and MFP is always more. I go w/the lower one. Just my choice tho!
  • :ohwell: I feel your pain - but I'm trying to remain optimistic! I've been on this for 24 days and haven't lost an OUNCE. Granted I do feel better and I have more energy, but geez Louise....AYKM! Just know you're not alone. (((HUGS)))

  • Please let us know what kind you use - I am clueless about protein powders, etc. I could use the extra as I'm not burning all my calories and I've stayed the same for my first month - granted I feel better but I want to see numbers go down! :) Thanks!

  • Banana Milk shakes and chicken strips from 2 co-workers eating in front of me and another one eating a breaded tenderloin with french fries! It's soooo hard to work in a medical office! But, I did it!
  • Congrats! Keep up the great work!
  • Berry, you seriously have NO idea what this post meant to me. I have been working on running....and have felt discouraged lately. I am getting ready to post something pretty inspiring in a few minutes. The person that is helping me to building up to running 2+ miles - is a good friend of mine that has been a cross country…
  • CONGRATS! KEEP UP THE SUPER WORK!
  • I agree w/noctuary....we've all been there. You know your body better than anyone and you said your it's TOM. Be kind to yourself and recognize that not every day or week will be a success. I feel a bit like you do today - only my prob was a weighed yesterday and again today and was up. I KNOW it's water, but I'm allowing…

  • Okay punkin' - first of all, congrats for being so dedicated and working so hard! I swear I feel like a hypocrite saying this, but, DO NOT get hung up on a number! I say this because so many times we all start this journey, and yes, it is a journey, and then fail because we compare ourselves to others or to what we…
  • Made me LOL too - add me if u wish! :)
  • My daddy always called me Blondie....but as an adult, my two nephews can't say Christy (They are under the age of 3) so they narrowed it down to just "TEE" and it has stuck for a couple of years. I LOVE it! Makes me feel special.
  • I agree - we've all been there! Stay strong...I guess my thoughts lately have been, "Is this worth having to be on the elliptical for 30 min?" It kind of puts it into perspective for me! :) You can do it!
  • Welcome! Feel free to friend me! I'm known as a "cheerleader" kind of person here in my world! :)
  • PropJetProp - LOVE IT!
  • I got this recipe from a health book years ago (when I wasn't even caring about health - lol) and it is super easy and super yummy! My fam LOVES it! 1 - 1 pound package of ground turkey and/or chicken (or very lean beaf...it's your preference) 1 can black beans 1-2 cups of instant rice (white or brown but I'm assuming the…
  • I'm new and starting over for the umpteenth time too! :) I agree w/the other post - baby steps. We didn't gain it all in one day and we aren't going to lose it all in one day. :) I feel better when I eat protein. I also LOVE the peanut butter crunchy granola bars from Nature Valley - makes me feel like I'm eating a cookie…
  • Welcome - I'm new too! Feel free to add me and we can cheer each other on:)
  • Stay strong and firm to your goals. I wholeheartedly agree with what everyone has said. You dont have to give in...you can do it! :)
  • I'm VERY new at this program but I've been working on getting back to being healthier since Feb. Consequently, I've been jogging (slowly) a bit and just worked myself up to a mile about 3 weeks ago. I did it in 11 1/2 min! I know you are so proud of yourself and I'm proud of you too! :)
